Mugged!

I normally don’t do the coffee/cocoa mug themes but I wanted to play along with Peace On Earth Christmas challenge and their mood board was too adorable to resist. I was able to make two cards using Taylored Expressions Perk Up! Stamp and Stencil set, All Planned Out 1 dies, Tiny Twinkles embossing folder and Honey, Gumdrop and Jujube inks. The image is from a Gina K Designs kit and the stamp set is Playful Penguins as well as the top sentiment. The coffee sentiment was also TE. I live close enough to the shopping centers so the day after Christmas until New Year’s Day definitely is chaotic.

My card will be shared with:

Winter Blues

A SimonSaysStamp Kaleidoscope embossing folder on light blue cardstock and ink blended with two darker shades of blue were used for my focal panel. I decided to swipe some VersaMark embossing and watermark pad over the raised edges for a bit of dimension. The side snowflake strip is an unbranded die from my stash and the doubled snowflake is one of my favorites from SSS. Sentiment is a Tim Holtz. I included a panel of printed acetate behind my focal panel for a bit more snowflakes.

My card today will be shared with:

Can You Handle the Pressure: Anything Goes with a Twist of Winter Blues (12/25) and of course the required embossing folder

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. It took quite awhile to clear all of the ice today. I definitely got my steps in today as we had to remove one layer of ice at a time until we hit sidewalk. NOW….there may be another ice storm Sunday night….I’m not quite ready for those winter blues!

Snow Friends

Tonight’s card is an adorable free incentive with purchase gift from Gina K Designs named Snowflake Kisses. A bit of color to the friends, a piece of patterned paper from my stash and Whimsy Stamps Drippy Frame die with a bit of spatter completes my card. My card will be shared with:

Double D Challenges: Santa and/or Snowman Challenge

Our snow storm today turned into an icy mess! We are definitely not looking forward to clearing out tomorrow. Snow would have been nice; ice not! Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. If you have snow, be safe. If you have ice, stay inside. If you have no winter weather, enjoy-enjoy.

Gatefold Butterfly

A gatefold card using the new Gina K Designs Glorious Gatefolds die from the 12 Days of Christmas box layered with black shimmer cardstock. The stamped image is Inkadinkadoo stamp that I was afraid it would rip when I tried to remove it from the stamp sheet. The sentiment is Taylored Expressions that was in my stash. This GKD die cuts like a dream.

My card today will be shared with:

Triple B: December 2025 Challenge

Working off the mood board with the black and white images inspired me to create my card. I was going to use an Inkadinkadoo bird stamp but here’s another butterfly!! Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care!

Big Game Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our grandson-in-law’s. Last summer he went big game hunting in Africa and shot a kudu, so I thought what better image to find for his birthday card. Image and background frame were both found online, brown frame is Spellbinders Classic Rectangles. I added the sentiment before printing the patterned frame. I think he’s going to like this.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Black and White Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our granddaughter’s. I CASE’d a card found on Pinterest. I think you can see it here https://www.pinterest.com/pin/342555115425164443/.

Patterned papers were found online, embossing folder used is Cuttlebugs Happy Birthday, flower is from an old hand punch, rick rack trim is from an old Sizzix extended die. Center of flower has a little Wink of Stella added for just a touch of glimmer.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time, especially these last few days before Christmas. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe. Happy Holidays!

Happy 7th Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our great-granddaughter’s birthday just 2 days after Christmas.

Her birthday party invitations are with a Wicked theme so I thought this picture of her when she went to see Wicked would be cute on a birthday card. Frame was found online, and sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate your time and any comments you might leave. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Ghost of Halloween Past

Black and Kraft with a bit of white for the ghosts seemed to fit today as I was watching A Christmas Carol with George C Scott. So for my card I found my Newton’s Nook Designs Spooky Roundabout stamp. I inked it in black VersaFine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added some white to the ghosts with a Posca pen and die cut a SimonSaysStamp Ghouls and Tree ghost. Sentiment strip is SSS, too. Spellbinder’s scallop and circle dies were used to make my frame. A bit of kraft ink blended on the focal panel then added to another piece of kraft cardstock and finally to a black card base. It is always fun to play along with:
