Winter blues with pops of red from my cardinals. My card today was made using Simon Says Stamps Forest Border embossing folder which was embossed on a piece of SSS patterned paper that was in my stash. After swiping a bit of Taylored Expressions Tiki Mule ink over the raised embossed areas for a bit more dimension, I die cut a cardinal from TE’s winter birds dies as well as TE Little Bits Birds and Birdhouses dies. Layered a SSS sentiment strip. I haven’t played in awhile with Peace on Earth challenge blog but with the temps in PA hitting 100 degrees this week in my hometown maybe I can stay cool by working on Christmas cards. As you can see by their mood board, I was inspired by adding a “red” bird!!
My card will be shared with:

This is beautiful Gayle. Love all the texture.
Beautiful!
Great card. I love anything with redbirds.
Beautiful card! Perfect folder to use and add the birds to.
I agree with Lisa, perfect folder and the birds are just right on top.
Great way to inspire coolness! It’s a pretty card. I’m loving the Tiki Mule color I’ve seen you use recently.
