New Beginnings

The HC Butterfly die inspired me to make this card – I just purchased the die and love it! All paper and glitter are GK. White for the base card, and Sweet Corn the top later with glittered white on the top layer. Glitter is a mix of GK all mixed together – just had small amounts of several colors so mixed together. Could not get a good picture – is very sparkly and I am happy with it!

I would like to thank all of you for encouraging me the last 2 years! I truly appreciate all your support! Hopefully I am now on the road to a full recovery and can enjoy everyday!

Birthday Card for Guys

This card started with fall brusho colors sprinkled on white GK card stock, spritzed with water. Didn’t like at all so thought – “what would Bonnie do.” I then took a stencil and smeared GK transfer gel over portions of the paper. When dry rubbed with various fall colors of ink. Mounted on Faded brick base with sticky tape. The image from GK Simply Vintage was stamped in Black Altenew ink on GK Fresh Asparagus along with the GK sentiment From My Anchor Mini Kit. The black frame was cut from GK black card stock with Altenew Rounded Rectangles set. Just a simple guy card.

Birthday Card

Two cards in one day! This one is for my Granddaughter Sophia. I die cut her name from Altenew paper with the Altenew Fine Alphabetically Dies, 3 times, glued with Connect Glue to show colors. The balloons are from Technique Tuesday Umpteenth Birthday, stamped in Black and colored with SN Shimmer Markers. As she loves bling add quite a bit which is from Pink and Main kit.

Birthday Card for Special Friend

I’m slowly getting back to card making! All paper is GK unless I specify something else. Most of the stamps are also, just starting to add others.

The die is Altenew Ornate Cover Die on Turquoise Sea card base. Image is GK I heat embossed in white sometime ago! Colored with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. Birthday Wish are on inside.

Happy Birthday

Going to try to post a card, been so long not sure I remember.

Used white GK card stock and technique shown by Karen and Cat called ink dragging. Card stock is Stone, ink Slate and sentiment from Grand Greetings. Very simple.

White Glitter Gel Birthday Cards

Finished a couple of glitter gel background cards.

The first card is a Tim Holtz Stencil, with white gel on Moonlit Fog paper. Ribbon is SU, vellum tag from my stash and sentiment is GK – no name on tag but think it is Tiny Greetings. Die cut butterfly is Memory Box.

Card number two is a stencil Bonnie sent me, on Stormy Skys GK paper. Balloons are a SU punch, embossed with dots embossing folder. Greeting the same as card one. Love this stencil, makes a great background.

Woohoo – Finished a Card!

As they are having a shower in upper Michigan for our Granddaughter and Grandson, needed a special card. This will be our 1st Great grandchild. Used Blue Denim Card stock, pp is scraps and not sure what pack it is from. Kept it simple. Just need to finish the inside. Typing a cute saying I found and die cutting it to fit.

Also, last night just figured out how to comment on everyone’s photos! Duh, let’s just blame it on me being the oldest of the group! Will be commenting in the future!

Getting Started!

Just trying to get started on this Blog! Hope I’m doing it correctly.

This is a card we made with our card group. Have no ideas what type of anything is used on it, but most came from the dollar store! I take kits made with Gina K products, the other gal makes kits with the cheapest supplies she can find. I give these to my niece to use in the diaper bank she runs in Illinois.

I love the gals in this group and they love my card kits so as they say they “glue” cards, not make them. We have a lot of fun!
