Hello and welcome.
I got the idea for this card on Pinterest. I’m not too sure I like the way mine turned out. I need some honest opinions on it. Hat is from the Silhouette, burlap was in my stash, corrugated piece was in a card from my niece, pp was online, leaves are a small hand punch. Edges of the layered pieces were cut on an antique photograph paper cutter. The antique cutter was gifted to me by one of my brothers-in-law. Even though I’m not really happy with it I’m entering it in The Crafting Happiness Challenge Thanksgiving- Fall. I know that doesn’t make a lot of sense but I do a lot of things to don’t make sense.
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
Gerry

I think your card is great – very fall looking!
Thanks Diana. I needed to hear that.
Cute hat! I like you paper.
I can understand the entering anyway. Not everyone has the same tastes. I like it too. Could be your not being sure is the lack of contrast. All the tones are in the medium range, except the black hat. Could be as simple as rubbing the edges of one of the layers with a darker color or even black sponging.
Thanks for the idea Bonnie.
I think you card is adorable. Says it all about Fall and Thanksgiving. Great colors and contrast.
Thanks Gayle. Each time I look at it I like it better.
Has all of the right ingredients if you ask me! Love that Hat. The pretty colors and texture are just bonus! Perfect!
What a fun card! Your hat is great and the burlap behind it is a great touch.
Thanks Golda. The burlap is one thing I really wasn’t sure of.
This is a fun card although I can see why you may feel it isn’t quite what you want. Bonnie had a good suggestion in that a bit more contrast between the colours might make you happier.
Thank you Johanna. All these great comments have made me feel so much better with the card.
I think this came out great! The burlap you used adds great texture and really gives it a cozy, fall feel. Love your hat, too!
