I am honored to be guest designing for the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog for the newest challenge. I was sent the sketch and it didn’t disappoint.
I chose Penny Black Sweet Thing dated 2009 on the wood block. The greeting comes from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler which was released in 2011. I chose turquoise for the background, cupcake, and strip highlight; I like it with the bright pink tones. I used gems from retired Stampin Up colors. With a white gel pen, I was able to add brightness to the cupcake sprinkles. I enjoyed using the sketch. Join me in this challenge using older product you probably have on hand.

What an adorable card! Isn’t it wonderful how adding a touch of white gel pen can add so much to a card? It took me such a long time to buy one and start using it for more than just printing on darker envelopes. You have such fun stamps.
Thanks! I used the white gel on the cupcake spots, then added the glitter pen to outline places. Both add so much.
