Stencil Fun

Hi everyone! It has been an ‘age’ since I was here. I have to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Bonnie for these wonderful stencils! I finally got to play with them yesterday and here are my results. For the first one, I used Gina K In the Navy cardstock mounted on a white card base. I used Gina K white Glitz Glitter Gel (made a bit of a mess in places – but figured that adds to the individuality of the card) The sentiment is from Mama Elephant Joy Ornaments. The small snowflake is heat embossed on Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum and the letters are cut from some glitter cs from my stash. I cut 3 black letters and mounted the glitter cs on top. The final touch was some gems from Pink Fresh Studio. The photo doesn’t do the glitter justice – it is very sparkly IRL.

For the second one, I chose not to use conventional Christmas colours. I sponged the stencil with twisted citron Distress Oxide ink, heat set the American Crafts Sing! ep (Leaf) and mounted the In the Navy piece on Gina K Jelly Bean Green cs. Added some green gems from Pink Fresh Studio and spritzed the whole thing with Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer Spritz (frost). Another one that is more sparkly IRL. Very happy with the results on both cards! Thanks for looking! Hugs!!

Stencil Challenge – Just Because

stencil challenge  Finally got my stencil challenge card done! I used the new Tim Holtz Alcohol Pearls with the technique that Jennifer McGuire featured last week. Such fun! The stencil is from Gina K Art Stencils – Foliage. I used Nuvo Glimmer Paste which allowed the background to show through. I die cut ‘just because’ from Birch Press 3 times on white cardstock and then the top one is Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust. The photo doesn’t do justice to the sparkle but IRL it is absolutely gorgeous! The colours of the background are so much brighter too. I added some dew drops from my stash, mounted on fun foam then onto a Kraft card base and I’m done. Thank you for stopping by! Hugs!

Curtis’ Birthday

Would love to share the two cards I just made for my youngest grandson’s 4th birthday. I used my Silhouette to cut out the PJ Mask characters (they are Curtis’ absolute favourite TV characters) I also cut out the ‘4’ on the Silhouette. The background was done using Gina K Grass Green cs and the Tim Holtz ‘Rays’ stencil sponged with Gina K Grass Green ink. I used a ‘happy’ die from an Australian company – Paper Rose. The ‘birthday’ is from Concord & 9th. The ‘happy birthday on the dinosaur card is from Lawn Fawn. I bought the pattern for the dinosaur card from Silhouette. Have had it for over a year now so thought I’d better use it LOL. Thanks for dropping by!
