Fall Leaves

The current challenge at Gina K Designs is to create a card with white space. This card uses Autumn colors and leaves leaving a lot of white space.

I used the Tiny Textures stamp set for the background stamping in the colors Tomato Soup, Sweet Corn, and Fresh Asparagus. The leaves and greeting are from Skeleton Leaves stamped in Black Onyx ink. I added a few black gems to finish the card.

I am also adding this to the Retro Rubber Challenge to use stamps older than a year. Skeleton Leaves was released in 2015 and Tiny Textures was released in 2016.

  1. WOW!! Love the simple design and colors. Isn’t it amazing how 3 little gems can perfectly finish a card???

  2. I am so not ready for fall, so this reminds me that I need to get that way. It also occurs to me that you would have just about anything in your stash. I don’t know how you do it all so effortlessly.

    1. Thanks! I have a large amount of items and totally forget about most of them. The gems were free with a purchase and were buried. I needed black something and these were found. It takes a bit of effort at times.

  3. Love those swipes on your white space card. I’ll take fall as it’s been way too hot and humid for me. Lovely card, Lisa.

  4. I’m waiting for Autumn patiently, it’s my favorite time of the Year.
Your card gave me a little taste of the gorgeous colors of this season.
Thank you for sharing at RETRO RUBBER.

  5. Beautiful fall card but I don’t want to be there yet. Want to keep the sunshine around for a while longer before the gray days set in. I love the tiny texture set and use it often. You did a lovely design here.

    1. Thanks! I like the sunshine also and miss it when it is dreary outside. I like Autumn colors but am not ready for the summer to leave.
