Butterfly Birthday Wishes

I love butterflies and the current Double D Challenge is all about butterflies. Mix the butterflies with white space and it works perfectly for the August challenge at Gina K Designs. Throw in a bit of blue, and Simon Says Stamp challenge comes into the mix. Using stamps older than a year plays right into the current Retro Rubber Stamp challenge.

I used Gina K Designs stamps Sending Love and Stampers Favorites. Sending Love was released in 2016 and Stampers Favorites was released in 2014. I used the colors Lipstick, Wild Dandelion, and Blue Lagoon. I added a bit of sparkle with the Crafter’s Companion clear sparkle pen.

    1. Thanks! I was surprised that it fit so many challenges. I thought of two when creating the card, then a few more came to my attention.

  1. You can’t go wrong with butterflies and yours are beautiful. How fun that it works for so many challenges.

  2. Pretty colours and a pretty image – perfect combination. I like the simple, clean look of your design. Thanks for playing along with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.

  3. Such a lovely CAS card, I really like that the butterflies are different colours, so pretty with the little colour pops. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber this time. Claire DT

  4. Fantastic card for all those challenges. Wow! love the design. Clean and simple yes, but it definitely has a huge wow factor.

    1. Thanks! I do like the butterflies. It was very much like my Lawn Fawn one, so lining these up was easy. It is not normal for me to hit so many challenges, so that was fun.
