Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my BFF since 3rd grade. Musical background paper was found online, and I add the words on the computer. I rounded the corners and used a marker on the edges of the pp. This was so quick and easy I really feel like I cheated big time. She liked it and that’s what counts.

I am in a green mode…..lots of green grass…..green leaves…..or is it just that the green inks from my last project are still on my desk! Probably the last!!! My card project uses Taylored Expressions Halftone Dots embossing folder, Birthday Balloons stencil & die combo and a previously sentiment from my stash. The balloons were colored using the stencil, then white pigment ink through the decorated stencil and white heat embossed with the exception of the green on green sprinkles balloon. The tiny bows are also a TE product as is the gold strip. A bit of ink blending on the note card and white spatter completes my card today. This card will be shared with:
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care; stay safe. I think this card will go to my brother who’s birthday is in a few days.
After deciding on a variety of green inks from Taylored Expressions, chosing a sketchy leaf stamp and a sentiment and my card stocks, I was ready to start the time on this CAS card. My first Gina K Autumn Silhouettes leaf was stamped using peapod ink and a quick swipe of a baby wipe and dry towel, the next color was sweet basil, then granny smith, then spearmint and finally mint julep. The focal panel was rushed to my Big Shot with a Waffle Flower A2 layering die, then back to the misti to position and stamp the Gina K Scripty Sayings 2 sentiment in the mint julep. This was layered on a piece of green cardstock and cut to size on my paper cutter and finally layered on my A2 notecard. Completed in 5 minutes, 7 seconds. I did find that stamping with ink cubes was a bit more time consuming than a full size pad. It also helped to have a stamp set that was a bit sketchy and the leaves overlapping slightly to hide any oops! Another fun Speed Challenge with:
Daisy Dreams by Taylored Expressions is my focal point for this card. The set is a stamp/stencil combination. Somehow my white daisies didn’t work out so I added some color that was left on a brush…..still not satisfied so I flicked a bit of OLO marker ink onto the petals. Butterflies are Martha Stewart 3 butterfly punch.
Hello and welcome. It’s hard to believe but our oldest great-grandson is turning 20. YIKES!!
After embossing white cs with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday ef, I colored it using a brayer and black stamp pad. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program then cut with Stitched Squares die from Die-namics. This is the first time a made a fractured card with an embossed background. I wasn’t too sure about the finished product till hubby said he really liked it.

A picnic themed card for me today and a challenge at As You Can See It Challenge #354 – Dining Al Fresco picnic theme. I chose patterned paper that would resemble a red checked picnic tablecloth on green cardstock for the lovely color of grass however those little ants carrying away my hot dog remind me to sit at a table instead of the ground. My stamps are from older Gina K Designs stamp sets: Cute as a Bug and You’re the Sweetest.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. It’s still hot, hot, hot in Pennsylvania and I’m personally hoping for an early Fall! Take care, keep cool and stay safe friends.
Hello and welcome. Time again for d-o-s chuckle card. As usual, sentiment, image and background paper were found online. Sentiment “I made a huge to do list today… I just can’t figure out who’s going to do it.” Dies used were bought on Amazon. It’s so fun making snarky cards for d-o-s.
I’m so excited, tomorrow we’re going to MN for our granddaughter’s wedding on Fri. The ceremony will be outside with the reception in a big red barn. If it rains the ceremony will be moved inside. It is going to be so fun I can’t wait.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for a good friend. For milestone birthday’s I like to find background paper with the number on it so for this paper I Googled ‘gift wrap 90-year-old’. There were several patterns to choose from, but I liked the colors in this one. Luckily, I had cardstock in just the right colors to match the pp. Card base and 1/8″ strips are Smokey Slate cs, cardstock for the numbers and 1/4″ strips is a piece I found in my stash. Center die cut is Stitched Squares by Die-namics, numbers are from the Silhouette. To make the numbers stand out a little more I used Glossy Accents on them.

…..not snow flurry but rather fall flurry with my leafy background created using Taylored Expressions Falling for You Triple Slim Layering Stencil and clear stamp details. After diecutting Gina K Designs Hello in black, then white then finally the ink blended layer, I added a few extra leaves using TE’s Fall Flurry die set.
