I used a Stampabilities set called Snoopy Eating Ice Cream, which is the perfect name. I added a piece of Echo Park patterned paper to add more color; it is a popsicle print. The embossing folder is The Paper Studio A2 Quatrefoil, which I think looks like the ice cream cone pattern. This was a fun card to create. Sometimes I like to color an image that I haven’t colored in a long time. I think it has been a few years. The greeting is from Lawn Fawn, Simply Summer Greetings.
This month’s Gina K Designs challenge is to have minimal color on your card. I chose to stamp butterflies today. The Sisterhood of Crafters has butterflies in their challenge.
I used two sets for this card: Tropical Blooms and matching dies and the other is Sending Love. I fussy cut the large butterfly then added color with alcohol markers. I found a stash of sequins earlier in the week, so I used a few on this card. I added sparkle to the butterfly, but the photo doesn’t show it.

Today’s card is for our great-grandson. He just started to play soccer this spring. Card base is from the Silhouette, small circles are SU punches. Punched circles were embossed with a SU ef. Background paper and the number 5 were found online. Number was fussy cut and backed with chip board for just a little bit of pop up. I thought it was so cool to have the number from soccer ball pp. Letters are from a Sizzix Sizzlits strip die. Letters were cut from both green and black. I decided to pop the letters. So, I used Foam Adhesive Strips from SU and cut lots of teeny tiny pieces.
Just a note to ask you all for good wishes on my eyelid lift surgery. I’m having it tomorrow, the 14. Hopefully it well really improve my vision.

Anything goes with an embossing folder and a twist of summer. I immediately thought of the twist first and strawberries, then I started thinking that our strawberry season is over and strawberries may not be officially a summer time treat????? But I’m planning a get together and we are having strawberry rose wine ice cream floats to cool off in the hot weather! So strawberries and summer still do go together!
My embossing folder is Cricut Cuttlebug Tiffany frame embossing folder which was layered on black and then again on shimmery red cardstock and to the card base. My strawberries are Gina K Designs You’re the Sweetest stamp set. I was really happy that my strawberry “caps” actually made it in the right position. No Misti for this card today….I was living dangerously.
I believe this card will go to our granddaughter who will be 10 in a few weeks. Another summer occasion!
It’s been a crazy day with computers not cooperating and the router going out and I immediately was thankful that I wasn’t dealing with these issues in my old office and very thankful to be able to enjoy my retirement for the last few years. Funny how those little issues take you back.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our s-i-l whose birthday is the day before our daughter’s.
My first thought was to make a hexagon shaped card but then decided on round. Cs is Basic Gray and Smokey Slate from SU. I think the pp is also SU. Card base and Smokey Slate circles are from the Silhouette, pp circles are Die-namics Stitched Circles, sentiment circle is also Stitched Circles. Sentiment was printed on the computer. I’m very happy with the finished product, and hubby likes it.

It’s a Anything Goes for the Summer season month of July with a mood board of red, white and blue. To try to include all of the elements in this challenge, I decided to use Hero Arts’ Sun background stencil and Taylored Expressions Shades of Summer clear stamp die sets. My shades include a patriotic pair, a tropical pair and polka dots sun glasses. I just realized that the old 60’s song “She wore an itsy bitsy, tweeny weeny……YELLOW…. polka dot bikini”. OOPS!! Yellow polka dots would not have fit my red, white and blue summer challenge. LOL!

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our daughter. Not knowing what I wanted to do, I found this pp in my stash, so I at least had the color. The video I watched, on You Tube, was for a 5×7 card. I would rather have made a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 but I just couldn’t figure out the right scoring measurements. Sentiment stamp is from Gina K’s Birthday Blessings set, flowers are from a SU punch and topped with Clear Wink of Stella. Butterfly die is Floral Frame die set from Gemini. Butterflies are popped up. To give the illusion of layering, I edged all layers with a black Copic marker. Creatures Under/In The Sea is the summer challenge with the Doubld D Challenge blog. For my card, I visited Pinterest for ideas and this sketch really “caught” my eye. After using Gina K Designs large circle die set to cut out the large die on the layering panel and then using the second largest die for the focal image, I inked in my sea adding navy ink to Fun Stampers Jorney Splash Zone stencil. My fish are from Stampendous Sushi Bowl Party and TPC Studio’s Undersea Adventures.
