I haven’t played along with the challenges at Sunday Stamps in awhile but I liked the sketch challenge and am getting this card in just under the deadline.
Although the temperatures outside are still staying hot, I am definitely getting into Fall mode and starting my October birthday cards. My background was created using Taylored Expressions Four Seasons stamp and stencil set however I decided to just gold heat emboss the stamped image onto some kraft cardstock and not use the stencils for added color. In keeping with the sketch and not wanted to cover the background, I used a piece of vellum, some ribbon , circle dies with a TE On Occasion stamp and die sentiment which was topped with leaves from Gina K Designs Thankful Leaves stamp, foil and die set.
This was a great sketch to use and will probably duplicate it again.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe and make it a great day!
Beautiful fall card my friend. Great take on the sketch and I really like the touch of vellum.
Thanks so much Gerry.
I love the gold background and these gorgeous Fall Leaves. SO pretty and perfect for our challenge, So happy you joined us at Sunday Stamps!
Thanks so much. I enjoyed this challenge.
Your card is a wonderful take on their sketch. The vellum layer is a beautiful way to show off the background.
Thanks so much Golda.
Great choices , Gayle, that gold is perfect for Fall! Your vellum banner is just right for letting all those yummy layers shine through! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
Thanks so much for a fun challenge.
Beautiful fall card! Love the gold.
Thanks, Lisa.
Very striking with the gold embossed bg. Takes the vellum to another level and makes it really stand out.
Thanks, Bonnie, I didn’t want to cover the background design so opted for the vellum. I’m thinking though that it could have been a little longer.
What a beautiful fall card. Great take on the sketch.
Thanks so much Judy.
Beautiful rich card, and I love the subtle vellum panel. The details on your leaves are lovely. Thanks for sharing with Sunday Stamps.
Thanks for a fun challenge.
Wow – this is a stunning card. Simple in one way but intricate in another. Love it.
Thanks, Johanna, it’s really a nice combination stamp/stencil set. I enjoy those as I’m not the best at coloring.
Your gold on kraft background looks great. And I love how you used vellulm as your vertical panel of the sketch; it really helpls your beautiful focal panel stand out without fully covering your background.
