Today’s card is for a very dear longtime friend (at our age I hate to say ‘old’ friend).
Border, image and sentiment were all found online. Sentiment: “Whining about getting old won’t help. But WINE-ing will.” I also printed the border on the inside. Another very quick & simple card.

Today I have a sympathy card for a dear friend.
Corner die is a Tim Holtz thinlits, swirl die is Fancy Flourish by Di-namics, flower is Flourish Thinlits from SU. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

This card will be one of several anniversary cards I’ll need this summer.
Embossing folder used is Tiffany by Cuttlebug, flower stamp is from SU’s Butterfly Basics stamp set. Flower is colored with Copic’s. It really doesn’t show but I added Clear Wink Of Stella to the leaves.

This card shape is from the Silhouette. The pp has been sitting in my stash for years. For the center circle I used a 3/4 & 1/2″ punch and added glossy accents to it. As I was looking at it, thinking hmm I’m not sure, hubby came in and said “that’s cool”. If hubby likes it it’s gotta be ok.

After seeing Gayle & Johanna’s cards for this challenge I just had to give it a try. While trying to decide what to do, I came across this small piece of pp (perfect size for a mini slimline). The pp had been found online. Tulips were cut on the Silhouette. Tulips were cut from colored cs but I thought they looked too blah, so I used a stamp pad and sponge dauber to add a little color variation. I decided not to add a sentiment so I could use it for any occasion.

Today’s card is for my good friend & neighbor and will be entered in JUGS flowers challenge.
Embossing folder used is from Sizzix. Big rose is from SU’s Rose Wonder stamp set, colored with Copic’s, fussy cut and popped up. Small roses are from an online coloring page also colored with Copic’s and popped up. I really enjoyed making this one.

For this card I got my inspiration from the lower right section of the inspiration photo. For the gold webs I found a piece of gold vellum in my stash. Not knowing if embossing vellum would work, I thought why not give it a try. Looking at the embossed vellum it seemed a little too bright so I used a cotton ball and black stamp pad to soften it. Large spiders are an old Sizzix sisslet die, small spiders are from a Quick Cuts die. Looking at the cut spiders I had the brilliant idea to cover them with silver Wink of Stella then used stickles for creepy eyes on the large ones. All spiders are popped up with Dimensionals.

Background paper was found online, stamps and dies are from Stampin’ Up’s Santa’s Sleigh set. I used red Stickles on Rudolph’s nose and he’s popped up. Stamping is kind of hard for me because I don’t have much strength in my hands, but the Stamparatus makes it much easier. This was a very quick and easy card to make.
