Whimsy Stamps released a limited time “Summerween” Halloween stamps and even though I told myself that I did NOT need anymore Halloween stamps to add to my stash….here is Summerween Scream. My instant photo frames are Tay,lored Expressions dies. I was a bit upset that I waited too long for the patterned paper pack that was included in the release though. I think I will have to admit that I was encouraged by my granddaughter to make this purchase. I’m glad I did because they images are super cute.

My cards use Taylored Expressions Cottage Charm layering stencil and die, Twinkle Twinkle background stamp, Star Spangled Sentiments, Arched Stacklets Die and Petite Scallop Arched stacklets dies for the red frame card and Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles for the blue frame.

Winter blues with pops of red from my cardinals. My card today was made using Simon Says Stamps Forest Border embossing folder which was embossed on a piece of SSS patterned paper that was in my stash. After swiping a bit of Taylored Expressions Tiki Mule ink over the raised embossed areas for a bit more dimension, I die cut a cardinal from TE’s winter birds dies as well as TE Little Bits Birds and Birdhouses dies. Layered a SSS sentiment strip. I haven’t played in awhile with Peace on Earth challenge blog but with the temps in PA hitting 100 degrees this week in my hometown maybe I can stay cool by working on Christmas cards. As you can see by their mood board, I was inspired by adding a “red” bird!!

I was inspired by a card on Pinterest for my card today. My tropical leaves are Michael’s Recollections dies cut in three different shades of green cardstock. The hibiscus flowers are from an old Gina K Designs Aloha Diva stamp set and GKD Wealth of Wishes sentiment to complete my card. Lots of green with a pop of color.

Taylored Expression’s monthly Combo Club this month was a stamp/stencil/die combo names Pressed Petals. My flowers were ink blended using TE’s shade sequence of Royal, Icing, Tiki Mule and Sour Gummy inks with a bit of Granny Smith for the leaves. After die cutting, I added the focal image to a piec of Tike Mule cardstock on which I used Quilted Cutting plater for some dimension. A white thin frame was added and all adhered to Tiki Mule note card.

I thought this would be a perfect card for my “older” brother who still acts like a kid! The idea came from a Natasha Foote YouTube video. Natasha used stickers, however, I used letter and number dies. My background panel is a Tayloreed Expressions Tweed embossing folder on gray cardstoock and then swiped with black ink.

Using Gina K Designs Ocean Silhouettes stamp set from the Vintage Summer card kit from July 2023 and inspiration from a card on Pinterest, I ink blended my background, cut it into panels and a circle die backed them with black cardstock and added a sentiment from the same stamp set. My card was given to a dear friend who finally decided join in the retirement ranks. We don’t have a view like this at the Jersey shore but if she wants to travel to celebrate her retirement, I hope my card inspires her to do so.

Gosh, I do love butterflies and they always remind me of my mom. My colorful butterflies were made with Taylored Expressions Butterfly Palette Layering Stencils in persimmon, blue corn, passion fruit and bubblegum inks. I stamped Gina K Designs guaze background stamp in TE sea salt ink over the butterfly images and added a TE sentiment. TE has several layering stencils that also creates a palette of the colors used along with a die to save for future reference.

Although, I have never canned jams or jellies, I do enjoy them on a piece of toast. My card features a recent kit from Tayloed Expressions “Let’s Jam”. It was something different than what is in my stash and I was inspired to add it to my colllection. The background was stamped tone on tone with TE’s Checking In background stamp.
