Joyful Wishes

I created a Christmas card this week. It is green, so I will add it to the Sisterhood of Crafters, the Peace on Earth Christmas and the Can You Handle the Pressure challenges.

This card started as the alphabet challenge card at Splitcoaststampers for the letter J. I needed to use a word off of the list and one of my own. The word from the list was Jade and my own is Joyful. I used SU Just Jade for my cardbase and embossed layer. I used the Spellbinders Evergreen 3D embossing folder. The patterned paper is SU Flowers for Every Season. The brown paper is from Spellbinders. The greeting is Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings cut with a die from Simply Wavy Banners. I added SU snowflake sequins for a bit of sparkle.

We reached 80 degrees today! I have windows open and am enjoying getting a bit of fresh air in the house. Thanks for coming by and reading my post.

  1. Beautiful card, Lisa. Love that embossing folder and the patterned papers design to complement it. Enjoy your warmer temps.

  2. The embossing folder is the perfect background for your pretty paper, like they were made for each other. I am jealous of your 80 degree weather, but to be 73 here today and then 40 on Sunday, a roller coaster of weather in March in Michigan! Thanks so much for joining our challenges at Peace On Earth, Can You Handle The Pressure and The Sisterhood of Crafters.

    1. Thank you! This weather is not going to last. It is too warm for March. The winds are coming through today and the temp will begin lowering soon.

  3. This is so lovely! The DSP is really pretty and does match the EF perfectly. It’s a great Christmas card! We love seeing your creations at Sisterhood of Crafters, we hope to see more of it! Hugs! Kristin SOC DT
