I pulled out a very old stamp to create a card with. This will be entered in the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.

The stamps shows the name Anita’s on the end, with no name or date. I have had this for 15 years at least. It also had a sticker or marking that reads $3.99. That also helps with the age.
I stamped the image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then colored the images with Spectrum Noir markers. The scalloped edge is Gina Marie Designs Stitched Scalloped Rectangles die. I enjoy pulling out very old stamps to create with every once in a while.

I like the cute bears. I have some Anita’s stamps that I got at Ben Franklin – I think it was at least 15 years ago.
Thanks Judy! Ben Franklin is probably where this came from. We had one and loved shopping there. I couldn’t remember which store and totally forgot about Ben Franklin.
So exciting to get out something that you had for so long and still create fun things. Great coloring, hair is hard to get right.
Thanks! These bears were quite easy to color as the hair is built in to the stamp. Very simple coloring was the key an it was enjoyable. Maybe I need to really look at several older stamps and use them with new coloring tools.
Great stamp and card! I love anything with Teddy Bears as I am a collector. I also have some old Anita stamps in my stash. Thanks for sharing your creation with Retro Rubber. Good luck in the challenge.
Thanks! I don’t remember when or where I bought this, but it has been many years ago. I found an Anita stamp in my Mother’s collection as well.
This is so cute! It is fun pulling out older stamps that haven’t seen ink in a long time (if ever!). I definitely need to do that more. Nice coloring!
Thanks! It is nice how the older stamp looks different with new kinds of coloring tools.
Lisa, no matter the age of the stamp, that image is adorable! What a pretty card you made with it.
Thanks Golda! It was fun to pull out an oldie.
Ok, this is seriously adorable!!! What a sweet pair of friends, love this image. I’m so happy you shared it with us over at RETRO RUBBER, thank you for letting us know the age of it, $3.99 is most definitely a tale sign of how old it is.

Thanks! It was fun to pull out a very old stamp for a change.
Very cute card! When I saw the stamp reminded me of a very dear card making friend who we lost a few years ago – she so loved her bear stamps! Thanks for the memory!
Thank you Diana. Glad it brought a fond memory to your mind.
Adorable bears and coloring, Lisa. It is fun to pull out some of those old red rubber stamps and it must be old to have that price tag on it.
Thanks! I kept most of my stamps since I began stamping. This was a bargain find somewhere.
Oh my gosh, don’t you love these older stamps? Such a sweet image and I love the scallop border you added! Just proves that old stamps still have life! Thanks for playing with our sketch this week at the Retro Rubber!
Thanks! It was fun to pull out an oldie and give it something new.
Great card and pulling out an old stamp is such fun. Amazing what we can do with old items.
Cute bear stamp set, your coloring and layout of the card is wonderful! Thanks for playing along with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.
