Still playing along with Virtual Stamp Night, using more Paper Smooches stamps.

I decided to pull out a rose stamp from Paper Smooches. I decided to create a Christmas card with this beautiful rose, so I added a Christmas greeting. All of the paper is from Stampin Up. I watercolored the rose using markers and a water brush. I spritzed the card with gold when completed.
I have been enjoying stamping with Paper Smooches stamps recently. I forgot how versatile they are. More Virtual Stamp challenges to go. I have no idea how many I will accomplish, but have enjoyed the ones I have participated in.

Lisa, this is gorgeous! It is perfect for Christmas and will be special as it’s not typical.
Thanks! I left the names of the sets upstairs, and they are no longer on the website. I was inspired by someone else who used the same rose for a Christmas card. I liked it, so went with it. Mine is different.
Beautiful!
Enjoying the process and the finished creation is what this craft is all about for me. Yours is such a delight.
Thanks! It is fun to make something unexpected for a holiday.
The rose is perfect for a Christmas card. Your card reminds me of the carol, Lo How a Rose Ere Blooming.
There is another challenge where one is to make a Christmas card telling the carol it is based on. I had no idea there is a Rose carol. I may need to make another Rose Christmas card. Thanks!
Google it – there’s a YouTube video and the words are beneath it.
Oooh, fabulous card! Thanks for joining us at the Paper Smooches Challenge!
Thanks! I have been pulling out quite a few PS stamps lately and am enjoying stamping with each one. I will miss Kim and her creations, but her lovely images an live on.
Awesome card and love the Christmas rose, Lisa, and that plaid layering die cut.
Very creative to use the rose for a Christmas card – love it!!
