The Paper Players current challenge is a Color Challenge from Laurie using Real Red,Tranquil Tide and Basic Grey. Pretty color combination — I decided to get my my close to those colors in my GKD cardstock and cut 1/4″ strips of paper, glued them onto a base and die cut a square using Spellbinders large classic square for center point of this card. I also included a dry embossed grey using a Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder by Sizzix and stamped the GKD image and sentiment from the Dino-Mite red rubber stamp set. Originally intended this card for our grandson but when I saw the sentiment decided on a friend’s “Medicare” birthday in July. I now need one of Stamp Buddy Gerry’s snarky verses for inside the card.

Adorable! Love the sentiment!
Thanks so much Diana.
That is so cute and so perfect for a “Medicare” birthday. I’m sure Gerry can come up with something, or you could say “No bones about it – you’re old”
LOL, Judy, that is great for the inside.
Super card! Love the sentiment.
Thanks, Lisa, it’s a cute older set.
Funny! Love the panel you created with the paper strips. Another great card using the challenge colors.
Thanks, Lisa, I tend to go overboard with color challenges and thought the colored strips would keep me under more control.
So cute!! and perfect for the “Medicare” birthday. I’ll have to start searching for something snarky.
LOL, Gerry, I thought of you immediately to add some snark to the inside.
What a bunch of snarks. Love everything about this one. Even the colors.
Haha, Bonnie, love our group.
Gave me a good chuckle with the snark here. Great card design and a good way to get the challenge colours to show well. Love this my friend.
Thanks, Johanna, I was hoping for something a little different with the color challenge.
Super cute, the sentiment is perfect! Thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players!
Too cute! Love that striped background and that sentient made me smile. Thanks so much for sharing with us over at The Paper Players!
