Just under the deadline with this card for the challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters to include the prominent sentiment of “Thinking of You”. It was a snowy day at our home on Saturday so I was able to create some backgrounds using the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Hearts Stencil A&B. This stenciled background was created with mulled lavender Distress Oxide ink and the second stencil GKD’s Glitz Glitter Get in wild lilac. Sponged some wild lilac ink on the Spellbinders large classic ovals die mounted it with some foam tape and then double cut cupid’s arrow from Penny Black’s sweet heart dies set. The sentiment was an older wood mounted stamp with no company name on it. Maybe from the dollar section at a big box store.
Thanks for looking. Happy Sunday!
Double stenciling, WHAT! So cool and that arrow makes it.
Beautiful card – great for Valentines Day !
Such a pretty background! I love the double stencil with the two tones of purple. Lovely card!
Doing a double stencil sure makes for a great look. Love the arrow it is perfect on this card. Love it all!
Gayle, this is beautiful! I love that you have 2 layers of the background hearts. The arrow is a sweet touch, too.
WOW!! this is so bright and beautiful. The double stenciled background is so cool.
Of course anything purple catches my eye. That double background stencil is awesome. The sentiment font really makes an impact.
Just beautiful … of course, purple is my FAVORITE color so this really called out to me! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Sisterhood of Crafters challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
