Monochromatic Shine

Double D Challenge – What is YOUR Christmas Style

This card will be entered into the Double D Challenge “What is YOUR Christmas style? So today my Christmas card making style is: Monochromatic and Shiny embossing powder. I received a package from SSS and included was the Big & Bold Holiday Ornament Stamp set from Colorado Craft Company. And when they tell you its Big & Bold believe me it is. I blended my white cardstock using Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink. When that dried I stamped with versamark the ornament image a number of times and heat embossed using white embossing powder. Sentiment is from the same stamp set.

And of course I couldn’t stop at one so here are a few others that I made with the same set in different colors.

GKD Cherry Red and Gold Embossed; SSS Midnight Green and white embossing.
GKD Tranquil Teal and silver embossing powder.

Thanks for looking.

    1. LOL…it’s like 4-1/2 x about 6″. It is huge and after all the stamping I could hardly get it out of my Misti! I thought it was going to tear. Thanks for your support.

  1. WOW! this is stunning and so are all the others. Can’t pick a fave although I did like the red and gold quite a lot. Its funny – years ago I had a wooden block rubber stamp (a gift) that was almost as big as this and I never knew what to do with it. In the end I gave it to a friend. Today with more experience I would probably use it.

  2. Embossing never gets old. Beautiful Christmas design. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Double D Challenge Blog. We hope you will join us for future challenges.
