fractured variation

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our weekly breakfast server.

Patterned paper, clip art image and sentiment were all found online. Sentiment “The little girl said as she asked for more… but what is the turkey thankful for?” Die used is Stitched Squares by Die-namics. I wasn’t too sure how this would work but I like the look.

gobling turkey

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my sweet nail gal.

Cardstock is Stampin Up’s Pumpkin Pie, ef used is The Paper Place Leaves, focal leaf was cut on the Silhouette, turkey is computer clip art that I fussy cut. On the embossed layer I used a sponge dauber with Pumpkin Pie stamp pad, leaf was cut from Pumpkin Pie cs then sponged with Soft Sued stamp pad. Before fussy cutting the turkey I doubled the cs for a little stability then popped it up on the leaf.

Foxy Fall

I had a lot of fun with the The Rabbit Hole Design Fall Foxes stamp set and colored so many of these little critters that I lost count on them. Using a leaf stencil in yellows, adding a piece of vellum for Foxy to nestle on top of and a sentiment from Gina K Designs with a few gems, I eas pretty happy with this one.

Leaf of Thanks

After being inspired by our Buddy Bonnie’s red leaf card with another fabulous background, I came up with this card. The color is there and the leaf, however, it is more of a clean and simple design. Using some Recollections red shimmer cardstock, Spellbinder’s Hemstitch Rectangles, Gina K Designs Autumn Wishes for my sentiment and SimonSaysStamp’s Large Stitched Maple die my card is complete.

Bear Birthday

I am sharing the birthday card I made for my husband’s birthday. It has a large sky, so it is perfect for the Seize the Birthday challenge.

The inspiration for this card came from watching many videos of Bears eating in Alaska. I know I wanted a bear and decided to place it in the trees. I saw a similar idea on MayMay Made It’s blog and used it for help with the layout. The bear, trees, and eagle are from Vinnie’s Fav from MayMay Made It. The Happy Birthday is from a Gina K Design set.

fractured triangle

Hello and welcome. Today’s card has an interesting beginning. While watching Jeopardy one night this triangle shape was one of the clues and when I saw it, I told hubby I need to try that shape on a fractured card. So off to Google I went to find this shape triangle. After pasting the image into my Hallmark card program, I sized it then printed the sentiment and found the clip art turkey online. Since my fussy cutting didn’t work, I had hubby cut it with an exacto knife and ruler. I had used this pp on other cards but this time I sized it so the design printed smaller. Card stock is Pumpkin Pie from Stampin Up. This card is for our 24 year old grandson.

rocking thanksgiving

Hello and welcome. Here we have another simple Thanksgiving card. This one will go to our youngest granddaughter and her boyfriend.

The card shape is from the Silhouette, pp found online, greeting circle is online clip art. Instead of using the circles from Silhouette I used Stitched Circles dies from Die-namics.

Thank You

In July and August, I was a hostess and verified entries for the Dare to Get Dirty challenges at Splitcoast Stampers. One item I said I would perform is to send Thank You cards to the sponsors. These cards went out the door within in the last few weeks. I was waiting for all of the prizes to be given, which took a while.

This was one layout I used. Basically I took a 12 X 12 piece of DSP, patterned paper, from Stampin Up and cut it into 4 X 5 1/4 pieces. Then I matted the pieces with a matching piece of cardstock. The color is Evening Evergreen which matches the green in the DSP. I pulled an old Hero Arts greeting from my stash; it is in a woodblock designer case and there are many greeting stamps in the collection. I added the strip of cardstock as a ribbon substitute then finished with a gem.

This card will be added to the Cardz 4 Galz challenge: https://cardz4galz.blogspot.com/2023/11/211-thank-you-thankful-or-thanksgiving.html

Thank you for stopping by. I always appreciate the comments. Our weather turned bitter cold this week but we are headed for 60 degrees today! I am excited as I do not like cold and it is a bit too early for winter.

another fractured

Hello and welcome. It’s interesting how I found this background paper. One day while on the computer a Joanne’s add showed this fabric and I thought that would be a great background paper. So, I saved the photo and printed it on white cardstock.

I just couldn’t resist another fractured Thanksgiving card. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program with some clip art leaves added. Die cut is Spellbinders classic squares. This card will go to our oldest granddaughter’s blended family.
