Accordiongly Birthday

Hello and welcome. Hubby and I share the same birthday, and we stopped giving each other gifts or cards a long time ago. However, since he played the accordion in elementary school, when I saw a card like this on Pinterest, I just had to make him one. This is an easel card so I’m going to stand it on his desk. Image is clip art, sentiment and music notes were printed on the computer. Edges of top layer were cut with an antique photo cutter.

Thank you for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

BiG Happy!

It’s a black & white simple birthday card today but I’m really lovin’ it! The unbranded coverplate die didn’t seem to leave my desk so I put it back to work making my background panel. SimonSaysStamp’s Chunky Happy and a birthday word die that was gifted to me from a friend completes this card.

Since the sentiment is the focus of my card, i will be sharing it with:

Diagonal Birthday Cards

I created diagonal patterned paper birthday cards. This will be entered in Seize the Birthday Anything Goes and Love Those Pretty Papers.

This card is made with Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen cardstock. The patterned paper is retired. I used Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings set and stamped it in Evening Evergreen. The gems match the paper.

I used the same layout. This one is in Magenta Madness, Ohuhu Black, and retired patterned paper. The greeting is Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Sayings stamped in Gina K Designs Black Onyx ink. The gems were ones that seemed to match.

I created this from the Featured Stamper today at Splitcoast Stampers. I basically changed the greeting and paper colors. The layout remained the same.

Today has been a beautiful day outside. We have reached 57 degrees! The snow is melting and it is looking like spring. It is still too early for spring, but the feeling is there.

Triangle Card

Hello and welcome. I’m so proud of myself. After several tries to make a triangle card this one finally worked.

Patterned paper is from Stampin Up. I’m sure it has been long retired. Sentiment label was punched with Stampin Up punches. The piece of ribbon was found in the back of a drawer. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

I am SO happy I finally got a triangle card made. Sorry for repeating myself, but I am really pleased with this one.

Thank you for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy, safe & warm.

Happy Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card was inspired by a one I saw on Pinterest. Embossing folder used is Happy Birthday by Cuttlebug, flowers are Flourish Thinlits from Stampin Up. I added clear Wink of Stella to the flowers for a little sparkle. Sentiment was printed on the computer and cut with my paper trimmer then I rounded the corners. Since I don’t do bows very well, I just looped a piece of hanging ribbon. Flowers and hanging ribbon have tiny pearl gems in the centers.

Thank you for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy, safe & warm.

Sweet Treats

Hello and welcome. It’s good to be getting a little strength back.

Today’s card is for a casual friend who loves to bake and share the treats. Background paper and sentiment were found online. At first, I tried the sentiment in the center but decided a little wonky was much better. This was so quick and easy I felt like I was cheating.

Thank you for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy, safe & warm.

It’s Me!

Just when I moved onto green cards didn’t one more RED color challenge appear and I decided to pick up the red gauntlet and play along!! My card today uses an unbranded cover plate die thanks to the enabling and inspiration of a Buddy, Gina K Designs Hello word die, Taylored Expressions Garden Gallery stamp and die, TE’s Hello, It’s Me sub sentiment stamp set, Michael’s Red Shimmer cardstock and Waffle Flowers A2 lacy and regular layering dies as well as piece of vellum.

My card today will be shared with:

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. No snow for us in Pennsylvania as the storm decided to stay south and focus on Virginia which is just fine with me but it sure is COLD! Take care and stay safe.

Doily Bridal Dress

Hello and welcome. When our daughter was here this past weekend she wanted to make shower card for her daughter. When she “makes” a card it’s sitting next to me while I do the work. LOL We found several cards with the dress made from paper doilies and she liked this pattern best. She just wanted it to be plain, no sentiment on the front. She hand wrote a beautiful note inside. Doily, ribbon & gem are from my stash. Embossing folder used is from Cuttlebug.

Thank you for stopping by I appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy and safe with all the crazy weather around.

Fish Time

Playing along with a “F” theme alphabet challenge today with a FISH card. Pulling out an old Gina K Designs Quite A Catch stamp set for my queen fish and Hero Arts Fishy Stamp & Cut for two accompanying fishes and sentiment for meet the challenge. Taylored Expressions Rainbow Bright 3 die which was colored with some Spectrum Noir markers and the required embossing folder is also TE’s Rockin Rhombus. The EB folder reminded me of bubbles. I did clean my my “elf” space and used all the layers and notecard from my “mess”.

My card today will be shared in the:

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Another snowy day so soup is in the crockpot and should give me time to play. The forecast is calling for rain tomorrow to wash away today’s snow. That works for me. Take care, stay safe.
