Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our great-grandson. The idea for a personalized license plate was found on Pinterest. I Googled WI license plate clip art then brought it into my Hallmark card program and added Ryan’s age and name. He’s very excited to be getting his driver’s license, as all 16-year-olds are. This card was printed on an 8″x7″ piece of white cs so finished size is 4″x7″. I think he’ll like it.
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our brother-in-law. Background embossing folder is from Cuttlebug, sentiment strip is Rectangle Stitched Framelits by Stampin Up, sentiment was printed on the computer. Patterned paper diamond shape is a 2″ square cut on my paper trimmer adhered to a 2 1/8″ square and cut corner to corner. Burlap looking strip is pp. Now I have to find a snarky saying for the inside. If I put a nice sentiment in his card he thinks I’m mad at him.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for a friend who goes out to find and feed Ferrel cats. Background paper was found online and peeking cat is computer clip art. For a color challenge of pastels, I decided to use Gina K Designs Lovely Lavender inks. I stamped the focal panel with SimonSaysStamp’s Gingham background stamp, inked in the Lovely Lavender, ink blended a panel in the lovely lavender and die cut, added Gina K Designs Scripty Sayings 2 sentiment and Taylored Expressions Fit & Flutter Hummingbird die to complete today’s card.
My card will be shared with the following challenge:
Hello and welcome. Time again for dear old sister’s chuckle. When I found this quote “My cooking is so Fabulous even the smoke detector cheers me on.” I knew it was perfect, not only for my sister, but also for me. Background paper, sentiment and image were found online. Ovals are Stitched Ovals by Die-namics. D-o-s loved it.

Tomorrow we’re going to MN to surprise our son for his 60th birthday. His wife planned a surprise party for him, and I can’t wait to see his face when he walks in and sees us there. He thinks our next trip to MN isn’t till Aug. This is going to be so fun.

I have been creating for several days and finally took photos. I just posted these to splitcoaststampers and two are linked to other challenges.
This is for this week’s alphabet challenge for the letter N. The word from the list is Nature and my words are Navy and Narcissus. Also the images are from Newton’s Nook, another N word. This was linked to the Double D Easter challenge. There are two other entries from the buddies blog, so I linked from splitcoast in case another buddy wants to create an Easter card and link from here.
This is my March to the Beat April card. I am the April hostess and I sent each person this image and a piece of patterned paper from the same pack. The images is Newton’s Nook Spring Haul. I used Neenah Classic Crest paper for the stamping, Echo Park Spring Fling or Easter Wishes paper packs, Hobby Lobby vellum, SU gems, and Accent White card base. I like this truck with the beautiful blooms.
One again, I chose to go ahead and link from splitcoast in case there were others who wanted to link from here.
This card was created for the technique swap, I am involved in. They chose stencils for the month of April. I used my Gina K Designs kit called A Happy Hello. This was the first layering stencil kit I ever used, so it was fun to pull it out and create with it. I used a color challenge in the colors Flirty Flamingo (bright pink), Lost Lagoon (the blue color), Lemon Lolly (which I substituted with lawn fawn Butter, light yellow), and gray for a neutral (I used lawn fawn manatee and narwhal).
I posted a lot of cards this week, catching up. Since I was posting each of these to splitcoast, I just went ahead and posted to the challenges from there.
Today, I will be taking a break from creating and cleaning up my space. I have stuff all over and I would like less stuff in my way. Thanks for reading this long post. Have a wonderful day!
I had a plan!!! Thankfully I also had plan B whick was implemented to complete this card to my liking. I took my inspiration from this month’s mood board with the Two Old Bats Challenge. I pulled out a variety of product including Gina K Designs Haunts & Harvest stamp set, Whimsy Stamps Keyhold & Keys dies, AI Double Stitch Rectangle dies, Taylored Expressions Postage Stamp dies and Birch Tree Border die, Hero Arts Bats background stamp, Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Chipped Sapphire, Weathered Wood and Black Onyx. The bat background that was stamped in versamark and heat embossed in clear embossing powder then ink blended with the DO inks did not quite do it for me but used it as the keyhole with a piece of vellum on top of it. I inked a new background, die cut the birch trees, key hole, a few bats and my black cat. I added some color to the cat’s eyes and a few stars for the background.
Thanks to Two Old Bats for choosing my card last month as a Top 3 and also our Stamp Buddy Gerry’s card was a Top 3 too!! YAY for us Halloween lovers.
I used SU Fresh Freesia cardstock for the card base and ink for one of the zinnia flowers. I used SU Gorgeous Grape for another zinnia and GKD Peach Belini for the other zinnia. The leaves are all painted with GKD Grass Green. The stamp set used is Altenew Zinnia Magellan Rose. I used Ranger Watercolor paper to paint the images on.
