Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our friends. For some reason I really wanted to make a corner fold card. Patterned paper was found online, label dies are Rectangle Stitched Framelits by Stampin Up. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program, gems are from my stash. I’m proud of myself, I didn’t add even a little snark to this one. lol
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
I had a plan for a monthly color challenge using color blocking after viewing a recent Yana YouTube video……hmmmmm…..so it went to choosing my light weight 65 pound cardstock from Michael’s to not really sure of the colors combinations of Red, Orange, Yellow and Green…..the red and orange looked too close in color to me and not sure about that green. After plugging on, I die cut Taylored Expressions coneflower dies…..first I was leaving them all white then decided to add some color, added a few of the detached leaves/stems and Taylored Expressions All Together All Occasions stamp/die set…..the leafy stems were not doing it for me so added a few more coneflowers and finally stepped away before adding anything else…..but maybe I will add a bit of splatter to the background?!?! Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!! Oh well, I think it may grow on me!
Hello and welcome. I’m following in buddy Gayles footsteps by making a Summerwheen card.
Background paper was found online. Pumpkins are from an online coloring page colored with Copic’s and fussy cut. The two stacked pumpkins are popped up. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program, then I tore the cs around the sentiment and spooked it up using a cotton ball and Chocolate Chip stamp pad and popped it up.

Today’s card uses Taylored Expressions Fan Favorite layering stencils and coordinating 3D embossing folder in Watermelon and Bleu Cheese. Four layering stencils and two ink colors varying the pressure of application of the inks hopefully achieved some light and dark shades of colors.
My Red, White and Blue card represents the flag colors of my country which is the challenge for:
I know that I like to play around with Christmas in July but who knew that there is now Summerween for Halloween??? The Two Old Bats monthly challenge has that beat with their Halloween themed challenges year round. So for my Summerween Halloween card today, I was inspired by the many pumpkins on the mood board and cannot resist adding a silly fun cat or two so I pulled out an old red rubber mounted stamp from Hampton Arts Outlines, stamped in versafine black and clear heat embossed then started on coloring in my pumpkins. After deciding on Taylored Expressions woodgrain draft cardstock and the Arched stack set dies, I die cut the opening in the woodgrain cardstock and then added a black frame. The clouds were made using a much loved cloud stencil by our Buddy Bonnie. A SimonSaysStamp Spook Up Some Fun sentiment completes my card today.
Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our daughter’s m-i-l who was just diagnosed with lung cancer for the third time. The first time she had surgery and chemo, second time just surgery. This time it’s inoperable so she’s having radiation treatments. I want her to know we’re thinking of her and hoping for the best.
Patterned paper was found online, labels are Spellbinders Labels 1, sentiment was printed on the computer. Labels are popped up. I’m very proud of myself for cutting only one piece of pp wrong.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our son-in-law. Patterned paper was in my stash, die cut square is Stitched Squares by Die-namics, printing was done on the computer. For the 1/4″ strips I ran a piece of gray cardstock through Stampin Up’s Corrugated Dynamic ef. before cutting.
Since we live in Sun City and he really enjoys coming to visit, the inside of his card says, “Congratulations, you are now eligible to live in Sun City”. I’m such a sweet m-i-l.

Hello and welcome. I finally got the courage to try making a three point card. Unfortunately, when I had it all done, I realized I didn’t leave a border around the inside patterned paper. Well, I decided it’s going the way it is. This is for our daughter & s-i-l’s 29 anniversary and they’ll forgive my mistake.
Patterned paper was found online, Dies used are unnamed stitched ovals that I bought on Amazon. Die cut sentiment is popped up.

Generally when I purchase new product, I keep in a specific bin until I use it but seriously my Radial Circles Cover die from Altenew has been neglected since November 2023. I better go through that bin a little more often. After die cutting the coverplate, I ink blended a combination of teal inks on another piece of cardstock. That reminded my of the ocean so I found another semi neglected Hero Arts Seashells Fancy dies set and added a Gina K Designs sentiment and a circle cut from vellum.
