Incredible Will Power

Hello and welcome. Dear old sisters first chuckle card for 2026. One day she had a notice from the post office that it would be delivered that day, but it never showed up. The next best thing is for her to see it here. Sentiment “If it weren’t for my incredible will power… I’d be exercising right now.” and image were found online. I even found this perfect frame online. This is not the ideal way for her to see it.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time and any comments you might leave. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Flying By

Hello and welcome. Like Buddy Gayle, I think it’s time to get going on Halloween cards for 2026. Patterned paper was found online, sky background with flying witch was also found online. Window frame is from the Silhouette and embossed with an ef from The Paper Studio, ghost is an old Sizzix die, spiders are from a die I bought on Amazon. The window frame is popped up with mounting tape. Popping the spiders up was a challenge since they’re so tiny but I managed to cut teeny tiny pieces of Stampin Up’s small dimensionals. Now that I look at it, I think I should have made the ghost a little smaller.

90Th Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my b-i-l. I found the headline page online and in my Hallmark card program I was able to add his photo and name. Inside sentiment “Happy 90th! You’ve officially reached vintage status.” was found online. I think he’ll especially like seeing what things cost back then.

Daughter’s Cards

Happy New Year. While our daughter was here between Christmas and New Years, she wanted me to help her make a couple cards. I love playing in my craft room with her.

The first one is to welcome her first grandchild, due in June. She looked through baby cards on Pinterest to get an idea of what she wanted to make. Pp was in my stash, onesie is from the Silhouette, ef is from Sizzix, letters are from a very old Sizzix alphabet die set. She found the piece of lace and ribbon in my drawer.

The second card is for her son-in-law. Again, she looked through Pinterest to find a design she liked. Pp was just the right size piece in my stash, dies are stitched squares by Die-namics, ef used for the center strip is from Sizzix. Sentiment was printed on the computer. I cut everything, but she put them all together.

Big Game Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our grandson-in-law’s. Last summer he went big game hunting in Africa and shot a kudu, so I thought what better image to find for his birthday card. Image and background frame were both found online, brown frame is Spellbinders Classic Rectangles. I added the sentiment before printing the patterned frame. I think he’s going to like this.

Black and White Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our granddaughter’s. I CASE’d a card found on Pinterest. I think you can see it here https://www.pinterest.com/pin/342555115425164443/.

Patterned papers were found online, embossing folder used is Cuttlebugs Happy Birthday, flower is from an old hand punch, rick rack trim is from an old Sizzix extended die. Center of flower has a little Wink of Stella added for just a touch of glimmer.

Happy 7th Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our great-granddaughter’s birthday just 2 days after Christmas.

Her birthday party invitations are with a Wicked theme so I thought this picture of her when she went to see Wicked would be cute on a birthday card. Frame was found online, and sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program.

Happy Birthday

Hello and welcome. Had to take a break from Christmas cards to make our grandson’s birthday card. I like the red, black & touch of white combo for masculine cards. Red layer was embossed with Cuttlebug’s Happy Birthday ef, die cuts are stitched squares by Die-namics. strips were cut from pp found in my stash. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program and I added clip art candle numbers.

With Sympathy

Hello and welcome. Sympathy cards are never easy to do but today’s card was really a tuff one. This is for a good family friend who’s 43-year-old daughter committed suicide. I just can’t imagine how difficult that is to deal with.

Embossing folder used is Textiles by Cuttlebug and flower dies are Flourish Thinlits by Stampin Up, label die is Rose Garden Thinlits by Stampin Up. After cutting the label I realized there was like a debossed frame outline left on the cs so I thought why not cut one in black then fussy cut the frame and lay the white label inside it. I hope you can make sense of that. Sentiment was printed on the computer.
