Bernadette’s Ghost

Hello and welcome. Now I have Halloween cards done for all 5 great-grandkids.

As usual, background paper was found online, ghost is from an online coloring page colored with Copic’s, and fussy cut. Ghost is on a wobbler. I did add some Wink of Stella to the yellow pumpkin light and ghost’s eyes. Sentiment was printed on the computer, cut on my paper trimmer. For the edges of the label, I used Tim Holtz edge rougher (sorry, I forgot what it’s actually called).

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy, safe, & cool.

CAS Christmas

Hello and welcome.

Recently I bought this no name embossing folder on Amazon and thought I better use it. I’ve had this ornament punch from Stampin Up forever. After printing the sentiment and punching it out I punched just the top from glitter paper to add. String is just scrapbook thread. It doesn’t show much in the photo but I added Wink of Stella to the ball to get e little shine. Bottom border is computer clip art that also has Wink of Stella on it. I can’t decide if I like it or not.

Wobble Ghost

Hello and welcome. We just had a short but fun 2 day visit from our daughter & s-i-l celebrating our anniversaries. They had 28, we had 61. Now back to the craft room.

Being so pleased with the wobbler snowman card I recently made, I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween ghost one. Background, bats, pumpkins and ghost were all found online. I pulled all elements into my Hallmark card program and printed it off. I see now that I should have put the ghost a little higher. It’s been fun making the ghost dance.

Wobble Head Snowman

Hello and welcome. I foolishly thought working on Christmas cards would make this heat more tolerable—I was wrong.

Looking on Pinterest I saw a wobble head snowman card that was from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit. Since I did not have that kit, I had to improvise. Background paper was found online and snowman is from an online coloring page, colored with Copic’s. I separated the head from the body then added a wobbly to the head. The added snowflakes are from small hand punch that I added Wink of Stella to for a little sparkle. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

Waking Up

Hello and welcome. Time again for dear old sister’s chuckle card.

Background paper was found online, image is computer clip art fussy cut and popped up, scalloped circle is Spellbinders. After using a small hand punch for the stars, I added Wink of Stella just to the area of cardstock that would show behind them. Quote, “The best part of waking up… is still a mystery to me” was found on Pinterest.

Mr. Pumpkin Head

Hello and welcome, hope you had a fun 4th of July.

Today’s card is 5×5″ square. Background paper was found online. Spiders and webs were on the paper, sentiment and bats were added in my Hallmark card program, image is from an online coloring page. Coloring was done using a Prismacolor pencil, Copic and a Stampin Up markers. After coloring I fussy cut the image. At first I thought about popping the image up but I liked it better flat. This will go to our 7 year old great-grandson.

Embossed Christmas

Hello and welcome. When I saw a card with layout on Pinterest, I knew I just had to try it. You can see it here https://sdbeansfromtheheart.blogspot.com/2017/08/christmas-card-using-sc657.html . Reading how she embossed the vellum I thought that was too interesting not to try it. To my surprise it worked the first time. Just put a piece of white cs in the folder and put the vellum on top.

From the mood board at Peace On Earth I decided to focus on the color green. All paper and embossing folder are from Stampin Up. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program with holly clip art added.

wwe Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our great-grandson who’s turning 7. When I asked what he is into now his mom said he was into WWE all the way. The picture she sent me was taken after they had been bowling and I thought it was just perfect for this card. The wrestling background and the WWE belt were found online. Images were fussy cut. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program. Fussy cutting the small photo was the most time-consuming part of this card.

Masculine Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our son-in-law. I found a card like this on Pinterest, you can see here https://www.pinterest.com/pin/342555115424664114/

All papers are Stampin Up. Dies used are stitched squares and stitched circles from Die-namics. Squares are 1 1/2″. Black strips were cut with my antique paper cutter. Sentiment is clip art. I’m very pleased with the end result.
