Happy 32nd BIRTHDAY

Hello and welcome, hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was quiet but very nice, and today our bonus gift is a 4-day visit from our daughter. We’re going to have some good mother-daughter time.

Today’s card is for one of our granddaughter’s. When I saw this sentiment, “For the 32nd time…. happy birthday.” I couldn’t resist it for her. Patterned paper was found online, die used is Spellbinders scalloped rectangle, sentiment was printed on the computer. This was very quick and simple and she’s going to love it. She has my sense of humor.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

6th Birthday

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card is for our great-granddaughter. She’s been taking ballet for a couple of years so I was happy to find this pp online. The 6 is number clip art printed on pink cs, fussy cut, dry embossed and popped up. Before embossing the number, I edged it with a black marker. Corners of pp are rounded to add a little interest. This might be the easiest/quickest card I’ve ever made.

Embossed Foil

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our grandson. He is so sweet, he told us he still has every card I’ve made for him since he was a baby.

I think foil works very well for masculine cards. Dies used for the center are Stitched Squares by Die-namics, Ef used is a no name from Amazon. To add a little interest, I embossed the top strips. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

Turning 5

Hello and welcome. I’m still working on Christmas cards but just had to squees in a special birthday card. This one is for our neighbor’s grandson that they “share” with us.

His school picture from this year is the focal point. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program. Since this little guy is fascinated with garbage trucks I just had to include a couple. After scoring the four edges I snipped out the four corners.

Gingerbread Christmas

Hello and welcome. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was really great. What made it extra special was that our granddaughter’s boyfriend surprised us all by coming and proposed to our granddaughter. She was so excited. Now on to my card.

I made two of these cards, for our 5-year-old and 3-year-old great-granddaughters. Background paper was found online, gingerbread men are computer clip art. After fussy cutting I edged them with black marker and attached them with wobblers. Sentiment tags were printed on the computer, cut on my paper trimmer then I rounded the corners. Those edges were also trimmed with a marker and popped up.

Candy Cane Christmas

Hello and welcome. Today’s card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest by Beth McCullough. You can find it here https://stampingmom.com/humble-home-fun-fold-card/

Patterned paper is Echo Park, candy canes are computer clip art, fussy cut and popped up. Just don’t look too close at the bow. :). Sentiment was found online and printed from my Hallmark card program.

Google Eyed Turkey

Hello and welcome. This card is for one of our granddaughter’s family. I thought their 3 year old would like the goofy looking turkey.

Turkey is from the Silhouette, labels are no name stitched dies, background ef is from The Paper Studio. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program. Of course googly eyes are perfect for goofy looking turkey. I lightly sponged the edges of the feathers. While I was making this, I kept thinking this will be really stupid, but once it was done I thought it was okay.

No Brain

Hello and welcome. Time again for D-O-S’s chuckle card.

The sentiment “As a kid, I used to watch The Wizard Of Oz and wonder how someone could talk if they didn’t have a brain. Then I got social media.” was found on Pinterest. D-O-S agrees. For background paper I Googled Wizard Of Oz background paper. Dies used are a no name from Amazon. This was way to quick and easy to make.
