Get Well

Hello and welcome. This card started out as an arrow card but for some reason I decided to leave it like this. Since purple is my favorite color for cards and I love this pp the choice of paper was easy. Ovals are Spellbinders scalloped and classic, sentiment was printed on the computer, gems are from my stash. Well, isn’t this a short post? 🙂

Happy Late People

Hello and welcome. Time again for dear old sister’s chuckle card. Image and Sentiment “Studies have shown that people who are always late are happier than those who have to wait for them.” were found online. The image was a sketch, so I colored it with Copic’s. For a little interest I added double score lines on all edges. D-o-s thought this was very appropriate since she spent half her life waiting for me when we were growing up. Another very simple card but made with love.

Christmas Bells

Hello and welcome. Another Christmas card done for this year.

Embossing folder is from Stampin Up, sentiment label is Stampin Up’s Modern Label and Word Window punches. Bells are from an online coloring page, colored with Copic’s, fussy cut and popped up. Pp for the strip was in my stash and edges cut with decorative scissors. Sentiment was printed on the computer and ‘Christmas Bells are ringing’ was printed before I embossed the paper. This will be entered at ABC Christmas Challenge C for crimson, D for ding-dong (bells). I actually used the Crimson Copic marker for the bells.

Have a great day and stay healthy & safe. Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time.

Hello and welcome. I’m not in need of a wedding card now but I wanted to make a card for the Signs of Love challenge at Double D.

Embossing folder used is Cross my Heart by Cuttlebug, image is computer clip art, heart is from the Silhouette. Sentiment labels are Stampin Up’s modern label & word window punches, sentiment was printed on the computer. Inside was left blank till I know who will be receiving it.

Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome. Today’s card came about because I wanted to use my new Arched die set. I bought it on Amazon, manufacturer GANPUB. Pp is from my stash, tree is from an online coloring page, colored with Copics. Before printing the image, I added the sentiment. Because of the arch I decided to round the top corners of the pp. This is very simple but I kind of like it.

Figured It Out

Hello and welcome. Here is dear-old-sister’s Feb. chuckle card. Image and sentiment, “Well I finally figured out why I look so old in photographs… seems it’s my face.” were found online. Looking through my stash of pp, I thought this one would work best with the image. For a little interest I rounded the corners of the background paper. D-O-S thought that is so true.

Zombie Witch

Hello and welcome. With no more Valentine cards to make I think it’s time for a Halloween card. Image is a Whimsy Stamps card front that was gifted to me to me by Buddy Gayle. Frame was found online. Being that the frame was a full sheet I had hubby cut out the center. If I tried to cut the opening it would not have been straight. This was way too easy to make, especially since I didn’t have to do the cutting. There’s no sentiment inside yet, I’ll have to find something that goes with that zombie face when I know who I’ll send it to.

Glittery Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our favorite servers that we see once a week. She has a glittery cover on her steering wheel and a glittery frame around her license plate. This week she even had sparkly shoes, so I decided to give her a little sparkle for her birthday. Background paper was found online, and I had the glitter paper. Die cut is Stitched Squares by die-namics, sentiment was printed on the computer with clip art candles added. I think she’ll like that I added a little sparkle to her card.

Warm Birthday Wishes

Hello and welcome. The idea for this card came from browsing through Pinterest. This is the layout I finally chose. I’ve had this pp for a while and I love the colors. Center strip is popped up with mounting tape, dies used are Spellbinders classic and scalloped circles, sentiment was printed on the computer. Very quick and easy. This will be going to a very special friend.
