Birthday Time

Hello and welcome. Today’s card if for our son. While going through Pinterest looking for ideas, I saw a card with this sentiment and thought that would be fun to work around. First step was to go online to find a clock theme background paper. When printing the sentiment, I thought it would be fun to add number birthday candles. Candles are computer clip art, Stitched square is from Die-namics. At first, I cut the black strips 1/4″ but thought they looked too narrow when I added the 1/8″ white strip, so, I cut the black ones 5/16″ and thought that looked better.

Tiny Feet

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is to go with the baby shower gift for our granddaughter who is expecting our 6th great grandbaby. Since I really like the quote “The tiniest feet make the biggest footprints on our hearts.” I had to go with a footprint and heart theme. The footprint frame was found online, center footprints are computer clip art. Sentiment was printed on the computer, center hearts are Sweet and Sassy Framelits by Stampin Up. The 4 small hearts are from an old hand punch, and I added Wink of Stella for a little sparkle. Hubby thought this was very cute.

Get Well

Hello and welcome. This card started out as an arrow card but for some reason I decided to leave it like this. Since purple is my favorite color for cards and I love this pp the choice of paper was easy. Ovals are Spellbinders scalloped and classic, sentiment was printed on the computer, gems are from my stash. Well, isn’t this a short post? 🙂

Happy Late People

Hello and welcome. Time again for dear old sister’s chuckle card. Image and Sentiment “Studies have shown that people who are always late are happier than those who have to wait for them.” were found online. The image was a sketch, so I colored it with Copic’s. For a little interest I added double score lines on all edges. D-o-s thought this was very appropriate since she spent half her life waiting for me when we were growing up. Another very simple card but made with love.

Christmas Bells

Hello and welcome. Another Christmas card done for this year.

Embossing folder is from Stampin Up, sentiment label is Stampin Up’s Modern Label and Word Window punches. Bells are from an online coloring page, colored with Copic’s, fussy cut and popped up. Pp for the strip was in my stash and edges cut with decorative scissors. Sentiment was printed on the computer and ‘Christmas Bells are ringing’ was printed before I embossed the paper. This will be entered at ABC Christmas Challenge C for crimson, D for ding-dong (bells). I actually used the Crimson Copic marker for the bells.
