Zombie Witch

Hello and welcome. With no more Valentine cards to make I think it’s time for a Halloween card. Image is a Whimsy Stamps card front that was gifted to me to me by Buddy Gayle. Frame was found online. Being that the frame was a full sheet I had hubby cut out the center. If I tried to cut the opening it would not have been straight. This was way too easy to make, especially since I didn’t have to do the cutting. There’s no sentiment inside yet, I’ll have to find something that goes with that zombie face when I know who I’ll send it to.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Glittery Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our favorite servers that we see once a week. She has a glittery cover on her steering wheel and a glittery frame around her license plate. This week she even had sparkly shoes, so I decided to give her a little sparkle for her birthday. Background paper was found online, and I had the glitter paper. Die cut is Stitched Squares by die-namics, sentiment was printed on the computer with clip art candles added. I think she’ll like that I added a little sparkle to her card.

Warm Birthday Wishes

Hello and welcome. The idea for this card came from browsing through Pinterest. This is the layout I finally chose. I’ve had this pp for a while and I love the colors. Center strip is popped up with mounting tape, dies used are Spellbinders classic and scalloped circles, sentiment was printed on the computer. Very quick and easy. This will be going to a very special friend.

Hard Rock Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our favorite bussers at our favorite restaurant. He has a band that plays locally so I thought a music themed card would be good. He always calls us ‘love birds’. 🙂

Embossing folder is a no name one I bought on Amazon, pp was found online, sentiment was printed on the computer and cut with my paper trimmer. Sentiment strip is popped up with mounting tape. Layout idea came from looking through Pinterest.

Masculine Valentine

Hello and welcome. When I found this black & white heart paper in my stash, I thought it would be perfect for the 2 masculine cards I needed. Dies used for the center sentiment piece are Die-namics stitched squares, sentiment was printed on the computer with clip art hearts added. Before cutting the strips, I dry embossed white cs then used a cotton ball and black stamp pad to get kind of brushed look. However, I also cut strips from the non-embossed and decided I liked those better but now on the picture I see I used 2 of each. Guess that just adds a little more interest, right?

Happy Heart

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our 8-year-old great-grandson. When I saw this silly looking heart I thought it was something an 8-year-old would like. PP was found online, silly heart is computer clip art, corner hearts were punched with a very old small hand punch. Corner hearts are popped up. I fussy cut the silly heart using a small exacto knife on the skinny arms and legs.

Be Mine

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our great-granddaughter. Background paper and clip art image were found online but I added the name. Since I didn’t have a die to fit the image, I hand cut it. Sentiment was printed on the computer and punched with Stampin Up’s modern label and word window punches. To make the label smaller after punching it out I stuck it to a piece of paper then moved the punch over and punched again. I hope you can understand how I did that. I’m not good at explaining things in writing.

Be My Valentine

Hello and welcome. My first Valentine card for this year. Background paper is a piece I found in my stash, image is computer clip art. The heart teddy is holding was blank so I added the sentiment before printing the image and Happy Valentine’s Day was printed on the computer. Bear is fussy cut and popped up. I’m pretty happy with the end result and hubby liked it too.

Bernadette’s Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our youngest great-granddaughter. Why do these kids have to grow up so fast?? Background paper was found online, dies used are Spellbinders Classic & Scalloped Circles, number is from the Silhouette, sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program. Circle is popped up. For the inside I had thought about writing ‘happy birthday’ 5 times but decided to just write the happy 5 times. I used both her full name and nickname on the card because her dad and her maternal grandpa always call her Bernadette but everyone else calls her Bernie.
