Dancing Figgy Pudding

I started these several weeks ago and finished them today.

This figgy pudding, with moving legs, is on a star background. The background is embossed with Spellbinders Monoline Stars.

Other supplies: All glitter paper is from Altenew. I used Neenah Desert Storm cardstock for figgy’s body, arms, and legs. The red cardstock is Ellen Hutson. I used markers to color white scraps for the eyes, cheeks, and holly. The blue background paper is SU; I can’t remember the exact color name.

Thanks for looking at my card. I made a trio in different backgrounds, but this was the only one with stars. My daughter thought this looked like a tile floor. Another thought to store in the back of my head.

  1. How cute! Love the dancing figgy pudding. The stars make a great background, but now I can’t unsee it as a tile floor. LOL

    1. Thank you! I doubled the legs thickness as one of the videos I saw said it helps to give them more weight. It was fun to create.

    1. Thank you! I embossed several colors but this was the only star one. I think I made a few white ones. I have a stack waiting for me to use.

  2. Huh, I wouldn’t have thought tile floor, but it could work for that. Great job on this. Cards with movement are always so much fun!

  3. Oh Lisa . . . this is so, so cute! Great job! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Can You Handle the Pressure challenge!  Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.  Darlene . . . Can You Handle the Pressure Co-Owner

    1. Thank you, Darlene. I look at your challenges quite often, but rarely get any done. I appreciate you and the work involved in creating them.
