Hello and welcome. Our grandson-in-law’s grandma passed away this week, so this is the card I made. Die cuts are Flourish Thinlits by Stampin Up, embossing folders are both from Cuttlebug. Sentiment was printed on the computer, and I added score lines on top and bottom of panel. Inside sentiment is a combination of 2 different sentiments found on Pinterest. I don’t think I ever embossed the inside of a card before, but I think it adds a lot here.
Just a fun little note… our granddaughter told me how she loved her grandma-in-law and thought of her as her grandma Gerry away from home. She is so sweet.
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy and safe.

What a sweet, special card. I really like the inside note with the embossing. How sweet that your granddaughter felt that way about her grandma-in-law. I was blessed that my husband felt that way about my precious grandma too.
Thank you Judy. That’s how I felt about my in-laws.
This is gorgeous and perfect for a sympathy card. The black and white is stunning, and I live all the embossed texture both inside and out.
Thank you Lisa. I might be doing more inside embossing now.
Lovely card! I like the inside embossing.
Thank you Lisa. I think the inside embossing is especially good on sympathy cards.
Lovely sympathy card. the embossed panels inside and out are wonderful. So sweet of your granddaughter’s comment to you.
Thank you Gayle. She’s the granddaughter that claims to be my mini me. 😉
Such a pretty sympathy card. I love how you embossed the panels.
Thanks you Johanna. It’s amazing how much dry embossing adds to a card.
Beautiful card!
