Hello and welcome. Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of faux twisted ribbon cards and just had to try it. Card stock is Blushing Bride from Stampin Up, pp was found online, ef used is Cuttlebug’s Happy Birthday. I’m thinking of sending this to our daughter-in-law, but I need some honest opinions of it first.
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Gerry, Beautiful card – only thing I might suggest is a narrow strip of the pink down each side of the ribbon piece. That might define it more. Love the colors you selected.
Thank you Diana. Great suggestion
Very cool technique. I agree with Diana about the narrow strip.
I think this looks great! I made something similar for a Christmas card last year and it was a hit!! Keep up the good work!! Barb
Your card is beautiful! Great job with the twisted ribbon technique, and it looks nice with the embossed panel. I love the soft colors you chose.
This is beautiful! You did a great job with the twisted ribbon technique, and it looks great with the embossed panel. Love the soft colors you chose as well.
Thanks Lisa. The more I look it the better I like it.
This is lovely! I hadn’t seen this till yesterday on a video, then I see yours. I did a quick search and found all sorts of layouts with this technique. I expect to see many more cards from you soon with all sorts of layouts. This is lovely as is or if you add a strip, it will set separate the embossing from the strip. Beautiful card!
I so would not change a thing, the soft colors are lovely. If you want to create a little more texture next time maybe try swiping direct to paper your dry embossed piece with the soft pink.
Thank you Bonnie. I like your idea of swiping color on the embossed piece, I might try that on my next one.
I love this. Soft and pretty with a nice embossed design. It works for me.
Love the soft colors and the technique you used. Very pretty.
