Silhouette Thinking of You

So many choices available for challenges and consuming my time on World Cardmaking Day. I chose a color challenge that I enjoy.

This is being entered in the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge: https://cascoloursandsketches.blogspot.com/2023/10/design-team-call-and-challenge-522.html

The colors are Blueberry Bushel, Fresh Freesia, and Daffodil Delight. My fingers have a blue tint, once again. Every time I use Blueberry Bushel, I tend to wear it for quite a while.

I ink blended Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight together. Then came back with an Inkadinkadoo stamp. I have no idea of the name of the set, but it has many botanical silhouette images and this one fit my rectangle perfectly. The greeting came from Gina K Designs. I added the twine to give it more balance.

I enjoyed the challenge. Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my card.

  1. You know even if I didn’t see your name at the top, I would know that this is one of your cards. Beautiful creation and such wonderful sponging of inks.

    1. Thanks! I saw an example by one of the DT members and changed my shape. I do like the blue for the image and greeting.

  2. Beautiful!. Your ink blending is great. I am in need of thinking of you cards. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. What a gorgeous card! That ink blending is absolutely gorgeous and I love how you’ve incorporated the blue by using it to creating a silhouette. Thank you so much for sharing with us at CC&S 🙂

  4. This is really pretty. You did a great job with the ink blending. That blue is perfect, even if you have to wear it for a bit when you use it. 😉

  5. Love your ink blended background, Lisa. Using the Blueberry Bushel as the silhouette colour works beautifully too! I’ll have to remember that idea 😉 Thanks so much for sharing with us at CC&S.

    1. Thank you! Sorry to be slow responding. I totally forget to check as I do not receive email when someone posts a comment. I enjoyed the challenge! These were fun colors to create with.

    1. Thank you! I thought the string was needed to balance it out. It was fun to create. Now they have a sketch challenge. Hopefully I have time to create something for that. I like this challenge.
