Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my dear sister-in-law. This layout was found on Pinterest. The one I really liked was an A6 size but I decided to make it a 5 x 7. Patterned paper and base cardstock are from Stampin Up, cream layer was in my stash. Sentiment diamond is Stitched Squares by Die-namics, sentiment was printed on the computer with clip art candles added. My first thought, while putting it together, was yuk. However, once it was done, I liked it, and best of all, hubby liked it too.
Card base is 10 x 7 folded at 5, background paper is 4 3/4 x 6 3/4, pp is 6 1/4 x 4 1/4 cut corner to corner both directions.
I’m entering this at Cardz 4 Galz is green & cream challenge.

Thank you Johanna. I wasn’t too sure of that color combo but I’m glad I gave it a try.
This is beautiful! I like the layout you chose and the patterned paper. I do think this color scheme has to grow on a person.
Thank you Lisa. You’re right that color scheme has to grow on you.
Another great technique for showing off patterned paper, and your card looks great!
Thank you Lisa.
Goes to show that you should never give up. Beauty is learking in there somewhere
Thanks for the encouragement Bonnie. Usually I give up too soon.
Beautiful card. I really like the design. The PP is perfect.
Definitely not a yuck….but that comment made me laugh. I really liked the patterned paper design and color.
