This card was mailed today going to a lady who lost her husband a few month’s ago to cancer. She is in need of encouragement.

The challenges were from Splitcoast Stampers. Each Tuesday a person is highlighted who needs a card. This week’s card is going to Mary Jo who recently lost her husband. The other challenge is the color challenge. I blended the colors of Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist (I substituted Key Lime from Gina K Designs), and Daffodil Delight on the card front. Then I stamped flowers from Simon Says Stamp Vintage Garden. The greeting came from the Sending Love set from Gina K Designs.

For the inside of the card I used the same colors and greeting from Gina K Designs Nurturing Blooms. I wrote over the top of the inked blooms.
I am thankful that I do not create too many of these cards. Thanks for stopping by.

This is perfect for someone struggling with loss. And as usual your colouring is perfect.

div dir=”ltr”>Thanks everyone! I found a card I had made a long time ago with Sending love and hugs and a simp
So glad you found one. I’m sure it will make her feel how much you care.
I agree. I thought this was perfect for her. I like this set and barely use it. It has many greetings but none were what I wanted, so Gina K to the rescue. The ink blending worked well. Thanks!
So very thoughtful and gorgeous
Thank you!
So beautiful!! This would give anyone love and comfort.
Thanks!
It’s a beautiful card, even if it’s for a not good occasion. It will be a bright spot in a gray time.
Thank you! I agree. This layout can be used for many reasons.
Beautiful, thoughtful card. The soft background with the silhouette flowers always gets my vote as a winning make.
Thanks!
What a lovely encouragement card.
Thank you!
Beautiful card, both inside and out.
Thank you! It arrived at her house and she was thrilled with it.
