christmas window

Hello and welcome. Today’s card was inspired by many window cards on Pinterest.

Patterned paper was found online. Window die is Memory Box Small Madison Window cut from a scrap on my desk. Tree was found on an online coloring page, colored with Copic’s and Spectrum Noir markers. Star has gold Stickles. Sentiment dies are Spellbinders Holiday Sentiments cut from white glitter paper. Since the tree was printed on white paper it looked too stark so I masked it and stippled the background with Distress Oxide gathered twigs.

  1. What a festive card. The bricks are perfect with that window die. I’ve had that die forever and have never used it. You’ve inspired me to dig it out.

  2. Great traditional holiday card. Love the red brick paper and your window and tree look great. Love how you can utilize the internet and the free coloring pages for the best images. Hope all is well in your are from the tropical storm. Stay safe.

    1. Thanks Gayle. Somehow it just seemed that a Christmas window needed to be on red brick house. All we had from the storm was some much needed rain.

  3. Lovely festive Christmas card Gerry. The brick paper is great and it was a good idea to mask your tree and stipple the background. It looks like wallpaper in a room.
