Hello and welcome. Just a little history for this card. When our daughter was 12 she became very good friends with 4 girls, they are now turning 50 this year and are still very close. This is the first marriage for one of them. Three of them have been in long term marriages and the other one will probably never get married. I think it is just amazing they have all stayed so close for so many years. OK, enough yammering, now on to the card.
Dies used are from Crafter’s Companion Opulent Swirls. To make it easier to adhere them I added double back sticker paper to the cs before cutting. Hearts are from EK punches. First, I punched the tiny hearts then centered the larger one over the cutout. In the photo the hearts blue looks a little different because they’re from glitter paper, but in real life they match. Sentiment was printed on the computer. Inside sentiment was found on Pinterest.
Thanks for stopping by your visits mean a lot to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
I think this is lovely. I like the blue and the die cut swirls. Very pretty.
Thank you Johanna. I really like that die set.
Very pretty! My sister was 50 when she married for the first time also. This friend of your daughter waited till the right one came along. Congratulations to her!
Thanks Lisa. It took her a while to find Mr. Right but it was well worth the wait.
Very sweet and calming. So very exciting for them.
Thanks Bonnie. I agree that’s very exciting for them.
A soft lovely and elegant wedding card. So nice that your daughter still has her childhood friends….me too…so I know how special those relationships are. Congratulations to the happy couple. Love the card and sentiments.
Thank you Gayle. It’s also special to me that they’re still part of my life.
That is amazing. Your wedding card is beautiful!
Thanks Golda. Those long-term friendships are amazing. And I’m happy to still have those “girls” in my life.
