Hello and welcome. It feels so good to have the COVID symptoms pretty much gone and getting back to creating.
Today’s card is for our grandson who just moved from his parents’ home to his own apartment. We figured he could use a little cash getting set up. Actually, there will be more than $1 in there. lol
The pocket is computer clip art that I printed on in my Hallmark card program then fussy cut. Background piece was run through a stripes ef by The Paper Studio then I lightly sponged Night of Navy stamp pad so it wasn’t such a stark white. Corner grommets are from my stash. I haven’t used grommets for so long I forgot I even had them.
Thanks for stopping by your visits really mean a lot to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
So glad you are feeling better. This is a great card! Glad you had a chance to use grommets, too.
Thanks Golda. I’m sure Jake will like the card almost as much as what’s in it.
What a cute idea and perfect for a young man setting out on his own. Glad you’re feeling better and are back to creating.
Thank you Judy.
Your white now has a denim look to it and I love grommets.
Thanks Bonnie. I just couldn’t leave a stark white background.
Clever idea and the pocket looks like it came off a pair of jeans. Glad you are feeling better and recovering from that nasty covid.
Thanks Gayle. I chose that pocket because it does look so real.
This is a great idea for a giving money and that pocket is so realistic. Glad you are back to creating.
Thank you Johanna.
LOVE this! Great way to gift money. Love your sentiment and the pocket you created. Those grommets are perfect!
Thanks Lisa. I was tempted to just add a few coins as the pocket change then put the real cash inside. Jake would have got a chuckle out of that.
