Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our son & d-i-l’s 31st anniversary. I’ve had this Gemini Opulent Swirls die set for a while now, but this is the first time I used it. Before making the die cuts I add double back adhesive paper to the card stock. That makes these intricate die cuts so much easier to adhere. Card base is the same color as the die cuts and the white background is textured card stock.
Thanks for stopping by your visits are very important to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
This looks lovely. Congratulate them on hanging in there. Our anniversary is coming in May and it will be 32 years.
Thanks Lisa. It’s really something to see your kids celebrating over 30 years of marriage.
Such a gorgeous delicate die. The happy couple will be quite impressed that you made this one for them.
Thank you Bonnie. I’m sure they’ll love it.
Pretty lacy die and colors for your anniversary card. Happy Anniversary to your son and daughter in law.
Those are beautiful die cuts, and you created a lovely card with them. Great idea to add the adhesive to the card stock before cutting.
Gorgeous die cuts and you are cleverer than I as you added adhesive to them before cutting. I always forget this part.
This is a beautiful card! I love that intricate piece at the top.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful card creation! The Gemini Opulent Swirls die set adds such an elegant touch to the design. I appreciate your tip about adding double back adhesive paper to make it easier to adhere the intricate die cuts. As a fellow card maker, I often struggle with getting those delicate pieces to stick without ruining the design.
I’m curious, do you have any other helpful tips or tricks for working with intricate dies? I always love learning new techniques and improving my card making skills. Thank you again for sharing your lovely creation and for inspiring us fellow crafters!
