I needed some quick cards for shut-ins. I found an odd sized thin pad of patterned paper that came with a card kit from Simon Says. The focal panel and mat were cut with Matting Basics 2. I used the Handwritten Hello from Simon Says. I was pleased at how easy it was to line up with the shadow layer.
You can get one hello with and one shadow layer cut from the mat layer of ML2. All CS is GKD – Christmas Pine, Prickly Pear, Moonlit Fog, Powder Blue, Lemon Drop, Kraft and Grass Green. It was fun to make cards with no stamping for a change.
Look great! The large Hello takes the stage and works so well with the patterned paper.
Thanks Lisa. I love it when I can just get by with a die cut sentiment.
Impressive with your spacing and layouts.
Thanks Bonnie. Always good to have a quick easy layout.
These are lovely Judy. Nice that you can make them without fussing too much. Good layouts all.
Thanks Johanna. Those Master Layout sets make layouts a breeze.
These are all great Judy. I really like the large, layered hello.
Thanks Gerry. It really is a nice die to work with and I plan to use it a lot.
A wonderful set of cards and a great way to use patterned paper!
Thanks Lisa. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to use more from my hoarded patterned paper.
Great cards and a way to use patterned papers with the large die sentiment. Love the paper choices and the position of your sentiment.
Thanks Gayle. I’m really starting to use my pattern paper more. I like sentiment dies that I don’t have to worry about keeping it straight.
Very cool! Great job with no stamping!
