I am getting into Christmas card making mode and used the colors from the As You See It Challenge for the inspiration.

I used the stamp set Every Blessing from Stampin Up, issued in 2015. I have used it each year since I purchased it. The colors used are Starry Sky in ink and cardstock, Mango Melody, which I used Sweet Mango from Gina K Designs for the substitute, and Parakeet Party. I laid the card on Parakeet Party for the photo. The black cardstock is My Favorite Things with Gina K Designs Black Onyx ink.
I really enjoyed blending these colors together. I was inspired by the DT Heather Cooper on the As You See It Challenge. I liked how her blended background looked so I gave it a try. Mine looks quite different from hers.

Thanks for sharing in my card. I enjoyed stopping my busy life and creating.
Beautiful card. I really like the images and sentiment.
Thank you! This is a favorite stamp set, so each year I look for a new idea.
Beautiful Christmas card! Love the background – great job!
What a beautiful, meaningful Christmas card. Love that background.
Beautiful! I love your inked background, and your silhouette images look great on it. I am impressed that you come up with a new card idea each year using this set! I need to get better at reusing sets I have instead of rushing to purchase new ones.
Not sure I send many cards with the set each year, but I have used it for at least one card each year. I tend to look for new ones also. Thanks!
Interesting color combo with your blending, quite pleasing and really draws the eye to the star.
Beautiful, serene card. Your blended sky is a lovely background for the shepherds following the star.
This is beautiful! The way you inked the background is quite pretty and perfect to highlight the star.
I’d never have thought of Christmas with these colours but your lovely Christmas silhouette is just a perfect way to use the colours. I like that you were inspired by Heather to give it a try. I think your experiment was a great success. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge.
Thank you! I enjoyed mixing the colors. I hadn’t even stamped with them, so it was time to use them.
Gorgeous take on the colors, Lisa – a brilliant nativity scene! Your blending is so smooth, love it! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It AND Retro Rubber!
Thank you! I enjoy these challenges.
Lisa, this is such a lovely and meaningful way to use these colours, and I love that you used them as a blended background, just as I did. You did a beautiful job blending. I like how the lighter colours correspond with the star. Thanks for getting colourful with us at As You See It Challenges!
Thank you! I fell in love with your card so had to blend those colors together. I enjoyed the challenge.
I’m with the other Lisa in that it amazes me how you come up with a different way to use and older stamp. Your background is lovely and the silhouetted nativity scene is just right.
Thank you! I enjoyed creating it.
I would never have thought to use these colours with a Christmas set but you’ve totally pulled it off Lisa – the lighter tones work perfectly and the angle of your blending draws the eye to the star beautifully. Thanks for playing along with our colour challenge over at As You See It this week!
Thank you! I enjoyed the colors.
Great job on the blending to use the Shepards in silhouette! The darker star on the blended section is perfect! Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber!
Thank you! I always enjoy the Retro Rubber challenge as it helps me use most of the items in my craft room.
