Game #223 at the Clean and Simple AAA Cards challenge is: One Layer + Sympathy. Clean and simple is usually challenging for me and then a one layer card steps this challenge up a few levels. So for my card, I used SimonSaysStamp’s Arched Domed Mask Stencil, ink blending Seafoam, Surf and Ocean inks, then using a light gray ink inked and stamped Friendship text background over the stencil. Finally I stamped my image a swirly dragonfly red rubber stamp that I believe I picked up at a stamp show oh those many years ago from one of the companies at the show. The simple sentiment is Gina K Designs Garden Silhouette. Hopefully this fits the CAS portion of the challenge and is definitely a one layer card. I was inspired by our buddy Johanna’s card to use a dragonfly stamp.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

Your dome element adds so much but then so does the swirl. Differently CAS in my book.
Thanks, Bonnie, it was nice to use a different masked shape background.
Well talk about stepping up a card and still keep it a one layer – WOW! You did a wonderful job here Gayle. I love it all.
Thanks, Johanna, not sure if it has enough “white” space but I liked it for this challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
Lovely! I like the blue for a sympathy card and the dome adds a new dimension to the one layer card.
Thanks, Lisa, I was hoping those soft blues would work well for the sympathy card.
This is beautiful! Love that domed background.
Thanks, Lisa, I need to use that swirly dragonfly stamp more. It’s a real challlenge for one layer cards.
Beautiful. Love the arched dome with that swirl.
This is lovely and peaceful, so a perfect sympathy card.
