Another fun mood board to use as inspiration with Challenge #23 Anything Christmas and the Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge blog. I searched and searched but could not come up with a Christmas mouse which was my first choice on the mood board so opted for the red and white snowflake pillow for my inspiration.
My card today uses a past STAMPtember collaboration set with SimonSaysStamp and Gina K Designs Snowflake Cascade. This took forever to line up the elements and I definitely can say that white embossing powder is not my friend but I finally completed this card. After stamping and white heat embossing the image, I sponged some Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink onto the edges of the GKD Red Velvet cardstock then die cut using Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangles dies.

Thanks so much for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.
Beautiful!
A gorgeous card you have created with your EB powder and a beautiful take on the mood board! Thank you for joining our challenge at Peace On earth!

Great card. The hemstitched die makes a nice border for the beautiful snowflake.
Thanks, Judy, those dies give a nice finish to the panel.
Beautiful card! Love the blending you added to the sides. I struggle with white ep at times. I like using white pigment ink under it, which helps make it whiter. I did toss one background in the trash as it just wasn’t working for me with the white powder. My embossing ink must have dried too quickly as my powder brushed off after heat setting it in places.
Thanks, Lisa, I must remember to use white pigment ink for white heat embossing. Thanks for the tip.
This is gorgeous! Your placement and embossing look perfect to me!!
Wow – this is a beautiful take on the challenge my friend. Love the hem stitched die you used to get the background. Had to chuckle at your comment on the embossing powder, I have the same challenge and get frustrated with it at times.
Thanks, Johanna, I saw a few spots that the white stuck where it should not have done so but I’m going with it.
WOW!! This is absolutely beautiful my friend. The stitched die is so perfect on this design.
Thanks Gerry, Definitely not a card to mass produce but happy with the outcome.
Gayle, this is absolutely gorgeous!
