Our weather is changing with cooler evenings making it feel like Fall. Since it is feeling like Fall, I made a card with leaves.

I used the Stampin’Up retired set called Blended Seasons for the leaves. I moved the image several times in my MISTI to have leaves all over the background. I used watercolor paper and embossed the leaves in gold to capture the water and color. The color palette is from Splitcoast Stampers CC912: Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, and Garden Green. To make the color more intense, I used reinkers for Poppy Parade and Crushed Curry. I do not own a green one, so came back with a marker to give it more color.
The Hello is a die from Gina K Designs which came in a butterfly stencil kit. I chose to use the Early Expresso color to cut the word Hello and Vellum for the shadow.
I really like how this card came out. I enjoy watercolor in how quickly you can achieve vibrant color on the image.

Your falling leaves are beautiful. I like your watercoloring. How nice to have cooler weather – but since we both live in Missouri we know who quickly that can change. I’m enjoying it while I can though.
Yes, the weather will change at the drop of a hat. I am enjoying it while I can. Thanks! I enjoy coloring these leaves.
Beautiful Card! Wish we would cool off just a little – 102 today!
Thank you! Hope a wind comes through and lowers your temperature. I understand California is even hotter.
Carol, I love all your beautiful leaves! So perfect for Fall! So happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week!
I enjoyed your challenge. Thanks!
Absolutely beautiful. You did an amazing job creating the falling leaves background and I love the vellum shadow.
Thank you! It was enjoyable to color. I just kept adding more color and the reinkers made a big difference.
What a beauty this one is. I like the embossing of the leaves and then how you added the colour.
Thank you! It is relaxing to color.
Oh Lisa this is awesome … LOVE IT! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Four Seasons Challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back again soon.

Thank you! I enjoyed the challenge and will plan to come back as time allows.
Such a beautiful card! I love how you embossed the leaves, and then colored them so perfectly in these fall colors. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
Thank you! Enjoyable challenge.
Lisa, this is absolutely gorgeous. Your leaves look like they are swirling around in the wind. Gorgeous colors and the added gold embossing is perfect.
Thank you! I liked the gold rather than using black ink with clear embossing powder. Leaves have to swirl, especially when they have color!
Great embossing on this pretty card, Lisa. Thanks for sharing with us at The Four Seasons.
Thank you! Enjoyable challenge.
An absolutely beautiful card following our optional mood board at Four Seasons challenge! Thanks so much for joining in with us!

Thank you! It was a fun mood board.
The background panel you created looks awesome! Nice to emboss all the leaves in gold before water coloring. Love the vellum shadow for your greeting; just enough to stand out against your colorful leaves.
Thanks! I enjoyed creating it. It actually went in the mail today. I had a person I was creating for.
Great job on this Lisa! You really got great color with the way you did the watercolor. It is a beautiful card.
Thank you! The re-inkers made a difference in the intensity of the color.
This is very pretty with the vellum under the sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us at Make the Cards 🙂
Thank you! I enjoyed the challenge.
