Taking inspiration from a recent card by my friend, Johanna and her floating image card, I decided this technique would be perfect for the color challenge with Sunday Stamps. I cut my color strips and layered them on two separate pieces of acetate then die cut with my Spellbinders classic circle dies in two different sizes. Foam strips were used to pop up the acetate circles to make them “float”. After adding a die cut stem and SSS scripty hello die and a few sequins to finish my card today.
The winter blue challenge required us to use at least 3 of the colors in their graphic and a neutral of choice. Great colors and I would wear any of these colors, too.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you. Take care and be safe.
Great job with the strips of paper. Lovely card!
I, too am loving these colors. I once had a pair of shorts in these colors and used the theme to paint my house and barn. Your creation is spectacular.
Dang, Gayle, this is stunning! This looks over the top amazing, and so dramatic! I’m such a sucker for cool stems, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
Beautiful card – amazing perfect colors – some of my favorite!
Wow oh Wow! This is wonderful and using the challenge colours this way is inspired. I like those colours a lot myself. This is a fantastic take on the challenge.
Those are great colors to choose from and your card is wonderful!
