One Ninth Kitty

AAA Cards Game #209

So you know how you seem to be drawn back into challenges because they always seem to be an extra challenge? Well that’s me and any CAS challenge! The new challenge with AAA Cards is CAS one rectangle of nine + your favorite animal. Hmph!! So I folded a template into 9 equal sections and using Spellbinder’s classic rectangle die cut out the middle rectangle. Using that as my mask, I sponged blues, purples with the colors left on my blending brushes for ink blending that section. All our pets have crossed over the rainbow bridge and it would be very difficult to choose my favorite so instead I went with the pet stamp that would fit in my rectangle. An old Canadian Maple Collections cat stamp was found in my stash which probably came from the dollar section of AC Moore years ago, stamped and colored it in. The added sentiment to me is a perfect cat greeting and is from C.C. Designs Grouchy Pets stamp set.

Fun to make and always a challenge for me to not add more. Just between friends, I believe my favorite pet was our mini-doxie Otis. No more pets according to my hubby!

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you. Take care and be safe.

  1. Great job keeping less is more. Lovely card! Yes, we are in the no pets arena. When ours are gone that is all. I love pets, but do not have the energy or desire anymore.

    1. Thanks, Lisa, and we are of the same opinion. Love pets and their company but they really are a lot of work.

  2. A lovely take on the challenge and I liked your creative way of getting to just one square. I looked at entering myself but am not sure if I can get anything done in the timeline based on the construction going on here.
