Another card using Buffalo Check background with the Make the Cards Challenge in mind.

I stamped the Power Poppy set So Grateful in Versafine Ink and dried it with a heat gun. I colored the image with watercolor pencils and a water brush which was very dry. This is not watercolor paper, so I didn’t want to add too much water. The buffalo check is stamped with SU Buffalo Check stamp set in SU Early Expresso ink, which matches the card base. The Kraft layer is SU Crumb Cake cardstock.

Your check with the stitching lines is fab. Great coloring, too.
Thanks! I made this one first, then kept staring thinking it needed something. I decided it had enough.
This is a great card Lisa. I love the fun image and your Buffalo Check is wonderful. Those stitched borders are perfect with the check and image.
Thank you! I really enjoyed coloring with my pencils for a change.
What a lovely fall image. Your water coloring is great.
Thank you! It was an enjoyable image to color.
Awesome card…the buffalo check with the stitched dies looks great. Love your water colored image….definitely has a country vibe and perfect for this challenge.
Thanks Gayle! I was looking for a country type image and Power Poppy came to mind. I haven’t used this set in a long time, so it was enjoyable to color with watercolor pencils. I do need to use those images more. I have physical and digital images. They see ink not very often.
Gorgeous stamp with a country feel, and looks great with the buffalo check background. Thank you for joining in at Make the Cards Challenge!
Thank you! I enjoyed the challenge.
Great card – always love plaid and you did a great job with the water color pencils!
