Pumpkin chair

Another card using Buffalo Check background with the Make the Cards Challenge in mind.

I stamped the Power Poppy set So Grateful in Versafine Ink and dried it with a heat gun. I colored the image with watercolor pencils and a water brush which was very dry. This is not watercolor paper, so I didn’t want to add too much water. The buffalo check is stamped with SU Buffalo Check stamp set in SU Early Expresso ink, which matches the card base. The Kraft layer is SU Crumb Cake cardstock.

  1. This is a great card Lisa. I love the fun image and your Buffalo Check is wonderful. Those stitched borders are perfect with the check and image.

  2. Awesome card…the buffalo check with the stitched dies looks great. Love your water colored image….definitely has a country vibe and perfect for this challenge.

    1. Thanks Gayle! I was looking for a country type image and Power Poppy came to mind. I haven’t used this set in a long time, so it was enjoyable to color with watercolor pencils. I do need to use those images more. I have physical and digital images. They see ink not very often.

  3. Such a sweet card, love the little fall scene! Thanks for playing with us at Make the Cards Challenge!
