I’ve been down with a cold the last couple of weeks and just haven’t had the energy to create. Now that I’m finally feeling better I want to get back into the swing of things – I have a lot of ideas to get on paper. The challenge at Just Us Girls is to use yellow, red and orange – wonderful fall colors. This didn’t turn out quite the way I’d envisioned it but I quite like the final result. The pumpkin is from a very old Spellbinders set. The sentiment is from Beyond Baskets by Gina K Designs. The leaves and wheat are from Autumn Bouquet Fancy Die set by Hero Arts. I got the elements arranged how I wanted them, used Press ‘n Seal to hold them together while I added my glue. I used a deckle edge die for the main panel then cut mats of Sweet Mango and Red Velvet and placed on a Wild Dandelion card base.

Lovely! Sorry you have been ill but glad you are feeling better.
Thanks Lisa. I’ve still got an occasional cough but am feeling way better.
Having the energy to create is such a good thing. This one is very festive and really captures the fall colors.
Thanks Bonnie. I even got up at my usual early hour so had the time to create.
Such good news.
Such lovely fall colors and arrangement. Hope you can finally shake that cold. and feel better.
Thanks Gayle. The cough seems to linger anytime I get a cold. But I feel way better.
Very pretty. Very nice layout and I especially like the deckle edge layer. Keep feeling better.
Thanks Gerry.
