Sadly I’m often in need of sympathy cards and struggle with making them right when they’re needed. The sentiment is from Extra Grand Sentiments by JustRite, stamped in Stormy Sky ink. The butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies Kit by Simon Says Stamp and is stamped in Soft Stone ink. I like using a butterfly on a sympathy card because it is a symbol of immortality. The card base is Stormy Sky with a white sentiment panel attached on the inside. Quick and easy to duplicate. I’m entering this in the Mod Squad With Sympathy Challenge.
Lovely sympathy card! I like you choice of colors as they are soothing. The butterfly is nice for the sentiment.
Thanks Lisa. Soothing and comforting is the effect I was going for.
Perfect in every way, from the CAS style to the monochromatic gray color scheme to the butterfly.
Thank you. I need a good go to idea when a sympathy card is needed and these are easy to mass produce.
Great job on this Judy. Sympathy cards are so difficult to make, especially when they are needed. It’s smart to make a few and have them on hand. I love the different shades of the same color for this.
Thanks Golda.
Beautiful card – your color choices are very soothing.
Thanks Diana
I love the butterfly stamped in the soft gray color along with this sentiment your card should bring comfort to the recipient.
Thanks Gayle and sadly it will go in the mail tomorrow. I just learned that a good friend lost her husband.
Such a beautiful CAS sympathy card Judy. Very comforting and soothing.
Lovely card (for a sad occasion), but very uplifting. PLEASE…..Come play along at Word Art Wednesday. Always Anything Goes/Family Friendly and lots of FAB prizes. http://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com
