Sparkling Christmas Wreath

I created a card to honor Rita at Split Coast Stampers as she is the Featured Stamper. I settled on a Christmas Wreath card to provide inspiration. I am posting this card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge where embossing must be used. I used heat embossing on this card.

I used the Stampin Up Arrange a Wreath die and a Spellbinders kit called Sparkling Christmas. In the kit are patterned papers, stamps, dies, foam adhesive, and double sided adhesive. I used the patterned paper and a matching piece of cardstock from the kit for the greeting. The solid green came from SU Subtle cardstock. Here is Rita’s card where I took the inspiration: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3017509?&cat=500&ppuser=70873

    1. Thank you! I have barely touched that kit, so was excited to find colors that worked well together. The woodgrained background is a piece of patterned paper from the kit.

    1. Thanks! I am loving the patterned paper. It was difficult to photograph with the shine. I do like the layers. I am sure I will make more with these dies as well as this kit.

  1. I have to say, I like your card better, Lisa. Your soft colors and that bit of shine is perfect for a Christmas card. Great job on getting inspired and upping it a couple of notches!

    1. Thank you! I enjoyed using the kit. I have a lot more pieces in this kit, so I will continue creating.

    1. Thank you! There is a lot of silver in that woodgrain background. The patterned paper is a neat pack as there are so many different kinds of patterns, all in these pale shimmery colors.

  2. WOW!!! Love that gorgeous wreath on the woodgrain. This is the best Christmas card ever in non traditional Christmas colors.
