While the cardstock was out for the CAS Colors & Sketches Challenge #426, I made another card. This will be entered in the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Wednesday challenge.
I used the Floral Essence set and matching punch from Stampin Up. I also used the Tiny Textures set from Gina K Designs for texture on the flag and behind the flowers, but also for the greeting. I used all colors from the challenge and added gray as my neutral. This is an odd size card. I cut the stitched rectangles first and then the flag. It was all too large to fit on an A2 card so I made a 5 X 7 size card, but that was too much white space below the flag, so I trimmed it down. The finished card size is 5 X 6 or close to it. I will fit in a 5 X 7 envelope for mailing.
I enjoyed creating with these colors and sketch.

Sooo pretty! The soft colors and the dimensional flowers along with the gray stamping of the stems/leave and greeting – lovely!
Love the design, soft colors and the stamping on the image layer to complement your popped up flowers.
Lovely card. The colors are so soft and pretty.
Goes to show how well pink and orange play well with each other. Your creativity makes it all work too.
Thanks! I struggled with those colors, but they are fine together once I got going. I must love the pink, as there are few sheets left of that color.
Beautiful CAS card. You really made the pink and orange work so well together.
Very pretty card Lisa – I love the soft detailing behind your punched flowers. Thanks for sharing with us over at CAS Colours & Sketches this week!
Love how you used the challenge colors and sketch. Your background is so soft and works perfectly behind those punched flowers. Great job. Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S
Thank you! I enjoyed the sketch and colors.
I love seeing how differently crafters interpret a colour palette, and I can see you were thinking pink Lisa! I love it – that gorgeous pink banner and your soft background. Thanks for sharing at CAS Colours and Sketches this week! Vicky x
Thanks! Yes, I love the pink. There are few sheets left from my mother’s supplies that I inherited.
Awesome interpretation on the challenge. Thanks for playing along with us at CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge. Looking forward to seeing your creative projects in the future galleries.
