Card for James

The following card was created and sent to a 10 year old boy who has cancer. I chose an interactive card idea.

Front closed
Inside open
Two flaps open
Flap 3 open

I chose fishtank2stamp and morefishtank2stamp from The Stamps of Life. The patterned paper is also from TSOL. I used lift the flap dies from Lawn Fawn. I made an envelope that is decorated with the fish tank on the front where I wrote his address. I will not post it as I had the address written before the photo was taken. I thought this kind of card would bring a smile to his face. I understand he is currently in the hospital and hasn’t eaten for a few days and his white blood count is not in a good way.

    1. Thank you, Johanna. I was so glad when the idea came in my view and I could create it. I rarely make interactive cards, but really should try a bit harder as they are so fun. I am sure he liked it. I haven’t heard anything new about him.

    1. Thanks! I hope he did. It was the first time I used the lift the flap dies, but found inspiration at The Stamps of Life gallery with this particular stamp set.
