The following card was created and sent to a 10 year old boy who has cancer. I chose an interactive card idea.

I chose fishtank2stamp and morefishtank2stamp from The Stamps of Life. The patterned paper is also from TSOL. I used lift the flap dies from Lawn Fawn. I made an envelope that is decorated with the fish tank on the front where I wrote his address. I will not post it as I had the address written before the photo was taken. I thought this kind of card would bring a smile to his face. I understand he is currently in the hospital and hasn’t eaten for a few days and his white blood count is not in a good way.
Love your creative secret window cards. James will have fun opening his fishy scene. Awesome of you to think of him with such a fun card.
Thank you! I was so excited to create with this idea.
Cute, cute window card. A ten year old boy will love it. It is so thoughtful of you to make him a special card.
I hope this makes him smile. Thanks!
What a fun card and what fun James will have opening all the windows. Perfect for a little boy. It is sure to brighten his day.
Thanks! I think he will enjoy this one.
This is perfect for a young boy and is sure to encourage him. Praying he improves quickly.
Yes, it sounds like he really needs prayer. Thanks!
This card is adorable! So sorry to hear why you made it, but it is sure to lift his spirits. Praying for him.
What child wouldn’t like this card. It is fun, cute and colourful. Beautifully designed and put together. Sending prayers that he will recover.
Thank you, Johanna. I was so glad when the idea came in my view and I could create it. I rarely make interactive cards, but really should try a bit harder as they are so fun. I am sure he liked it. I haven’t heard anything new about him.
All the cute little scenes inside! I’ll bet he just loved this! I do!
Thanks! I hope he did. It was the first time I used the lift the flap dies, but found inspiration at The Stamps of Life gallery with this particular stamp set.
